Hey, I have used ArchiCAD software while I was studying my bachelor's in civil engineering to practice and create sample house building. Very simple and quick way to model. It gives accuracy and realistic rendering model. Thanks! after 10 years I'm seeing this video regarding ArchiCAD. It's a great soft ware. More to go... keep it up... By the way I'm from India.
From my point of view Ron Culver's Architectural Projects are a great sample for a BIM workflow, which shows the actual standards. So many MEP-engineers are not able to bring in correct planned BIM models. I am so delighted, that he shows also the practical workflow which occur, when participants don´t use BIM Models. Please more of these videos. I had similar problems wich has been showed from Ron. It is so important to have a AIA contract. Every Participant of the Project must play with the same rules. Thank you very much for your presentation, I learned a lot from it.
After reviewing your videos, I noticed that they are missing rank tags and your title descriptions are not fully optimized for SEO. Currently, your SEO score is at 0%. It's important to note that video SEO is a major contributor to a video's success. To increase your chances of going viral, it's crucial to use high-ranking keywords and promote your video organically to your targeted audience.
I love your explanation
You are the foundation of my designing life. Thank you sir
it'll be interesting to see if Design Options accommodates rules so in the future, instead of having two walls of each option, we could have 1 wall with different surface, building-material, composites as each Design Option... really dial-in the specifics of each option... "fingers crossed"
I personaly prefer to use Favorites and have only my building model in the workspace. I don't like that clutter of the working space, and when the 3D Library elements are ON, beside the building Model, Zooming and Orbeting become a fastidious thing.
Very interresting ! 👍👍 Thank you Eric
Unit cost 350, 400 ? ... manually?
2:13:00 Actually you can modify the path without going to the top level of the publisher if you right click on a file or folder included in the publisher. You will find the option there, but only if you have a single file or folder selected.
an you drop the link of that archicad you used
Thanks mate!
Well done .. apart from construction how can you add other type of technical symbols

Thank you Eric for your ""simple but into the point tutorials!... Your videos are really helpful and saved me too many times... I sketched a simple rectangle with a text inside but when I change the dimensions of the my object also distorts the text!....I wonder what I am doing wrong.... Your help would be precious to me.... Thank you in advance..
Exactly what I needed thank you!
Exactly the clarity I was looking for - thank you!
Excellent. Informative as always. Thank you.
Do you have updates to these tutorials or just an update to the QuickStart?
Cali. Colombia
so in summary archicad is the dumbest program invented and it can't do 3d tiles ... thanks
Happy New Year.
Hi Eric! Happy new year! Nice to see you all well! Thank you!
👍👍👍
No way...
Praying for you
The distance guides feature does not work

Adding another button with "Relink", "Relink with a copy" might solve the issue., --> 1:00:00
I’m watching your presentation from Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. You thought me Archicad Eric and I thank you for that!
I have been using ArchiCAD 22 for 4 or 5 years (I know, I know - if they fix the stairs and railings I will advocate for an update!) and the problem with railings that I and all my coworkers (who mostly refuse to use the tool at all anymore) have is connections on a U-shaped stair. We are doing schools, so we need tube steel everything, and the connections, especially after the railing turns on the landing and starts up the upper stair run, seem unfixable. I'm surprised how little 'troubleshooting' info I see on this connection issue, since I definitely see other peeps dealing with it too. Any suggestions gratefully accepted! I have folders called 'mutant railings' and 'railing catastrophes'. They are not ADA compliant, I am quite certain...
Great but i how do you keep the setting for different elevation, i tried rebuild and so and it seems all my elevations are linked so i cant save different setting :(
Καλημέρα, σας ευχαριστώ το βίντεο σαςε βοηθησε πολύ.
good video!
I have so many questions on best practice on archicad, questions you'd probably answer in seconds! Can I reach out out to anyone?
Hi Eric not sure this is the place to ask questions but anyway. So I have this question or questions. 1. how about lets say imported objects from sketchup and you ant them to work in archicad with their own custom symbol. i have followed your tutorial but im having issues with the custom symbol and 3d being missaligned in plan as well as 3d. how would one fix the alignment? 2. is it also possible to have the 2d symbol scalable withouth scaling the 3d object?
JUST BOUGHT. Hope it helps :))
Great video
Great webinar
Eric Hi gday. Querie for you if possible: what’s the reason why suddenly we can not save from the 3D WINDOW our 3 story house as an OBJECT… to INSERT IN ONE GO in a MASTER BASE… however we are GETTING ONLY FLAT 2D IMAGES… Driving as crazy… any tips how to overcome this, much appreciated. Cheers Cunha & Santos
Hey I have some questions am I able to reach out to you on that sir?
How can I build a stair with an "U" shape please? I mean really the shape of the riser.
The tools are great. The pricing is too much and it becomes absolutely absurd for small offices. You can’t spread the tools if you don’t understand that you need a large base of people who uses them at a very small price.
Good day sir u have a New student
