Eric yesterday was my first lesson in archicad at polytechnic in New Zealand it put my self esteem at a all time low I felt overwhelmed and embarassed that I didnt catch on as fast as the other students. Its a sad day when you learn more in a 30min youtube tutorial from you than a 2 hour lesson from a tutor. Learning what everything is and its purpose is stops newbbies from freaking out so well done!!!! Excellent and I will be learning from you for sure!

Hi Eric. When I draw a wall, the small window for viewing and changing the length of the wall doesn't come up. Do you know how to activate it? (thanks for a great class btw)

When you change the wall thickness doesn't it then effect the internal measurement of the room? How can you change wall thicknesses after you've drawn a space without effecting your critical measurements?

Hi! it happened to me also, you need to click on EDIT - GROUPING - SUSPEND GROUPS or disactivate AUTOMATIC GROUPS (it depends what you wanna do) I hope it's helpfull. bye!

Hi! great tutorial! I have a question - when I try to select one side of the wall of four with Shift + click .. it selects all four sides, is it a setting or is it a bug in the software?

Do you have updates to these tutorials or just an update to the QuickStart?

Hi Eric (and all of you guys), I have a problem with 3d navigation.I am using a Wacom Intuos tablet recently in the other programs I use (C4D, 3ds max, to be named), and in both programs I can zoom is 3d by ctrl+alt+middle mouse wheel (I have assigned one of my buttons on the pen to behave like that).Is it possible to customize that in Archicad (I am using 17), or am I stuck with my zoom wheel on the tablet? It's nothing I couldn't live without, but would be nice to have! Thanks for your videos!

I would like to know how do I go about creating an opening in walls. Just a simple opening

Just do Edit->grouping->Suspend Groups And you will be able to select individual walls

Hello! May I ask you something? when you want to change the size of something you put "30-6" if you use inches. I use meters and I don't know how I can write something like that: 1.50 When I put . or , it goes to zero or two etc. What I do wrong? for example, I want the thickness of my wall to be 0.35 meters what I must to do?
