Welcome to ArchiCAD 24 - Floor Plan Tutorial [Part 01]. This is the first video in a series of four videos that will show you how to develop an architectural floor plan from scratch using Graphisoft’s latest ArchiCAD release. This tutorial will introduce you to floor plan creation with a basic understanding of the user interface and navigation options.
This tutorial will go through the basic settings such as storey creation, setting working and dimensioning units, customizing the project information, and project location settings.
When we are done with these settings, we will draw our house's external and internal walls. This will help us create the various rooms that will dictate the functions of each space created.

Hi, thanks for the video. I cant get the walls filled with black, I select both on override cut fill pens but I get transparent fill

Hello, make sure you have your 'Cut Fill Foreground Pen' and 'Cut Fill Background Pen' set on black. You can play with colors on both settings and notice how each one influences the final result.

I am an archicad user but am not master on archicad, so there's some features i don't know when i watch i tutorials some times i see something new ( for example in this tutorial i learned project location) so i was searching for a full tutorial that i can come back to as reference.

Why does my line keep going to the right, ave followed your steps but they keep going left
