How do you change the units of measurement to metric on this free version?

I am working on a floor plan of my apartment . I have precise measurements of each room and each wall. However when I insert internal walls the room sizes get affected . stupid question: once I insert internal walls what is the best way to adjust the room size to the original official sizes?

I’m sorry I don’t think I understand what you’re asking. If you are referring to the internal lines that depict your wall you could simply draw those first so that they are the correct measurement.

Is it possible to display measurements on the drawing? Showing wall lengths etc

Hi there, you only want to scroll in and out when I’m top down view. Where you place your cursor will determine which direction you’re scrolling towards. Don’t use orbit or pan or it will change the view. Does this make sense?

I have problem with changing from RASTER to VECTOR in layout. Do you know why? My view is disturbing when switching this option....

Click once to start the rectangle, type the dimensions. If you click twice you’ll close the rectangle. Hope this helps.

Go to "Scenes" on the menu on the right side of screen. Open up "Standard Views" and select "Plan View (Top)".

Do you mean adding dimensions and text? If so, this can be done with Sketchup Pro and a tool called Layout. Here's the floor plan video for the Pro version with Layout: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mo6IstethcyymdY.html

They used to be a really nice free version, but I can’t find it anymore. Am I missing something?

Can you edit out your breathing... I'm listening on headphones in order not to disterb houshold members and it feels like your breathing in my ear... it's hella bugg'n.
