I am so emotionally touched by the beauty of this small place on which mankind lives. This young lady fills her dialog with passion and expression which inspires to breathe and see the beauty of this place. This is on my list of hikes...nothing short of ALL day, time to sit and 'see' the beauty. Thank you.

Park Ranger Karen Henker is the model for the Park Ranger you'd like to encounter in every National Park or Monument. She's also the model for the people you'd prefer to interact with in everyday life. Well done, Karen!

Worked with Karen at Wind Cave NP. She’s awesome and took Steve Irwin (RIP) through the cave in 2005. She was my roommate then.

"...and spread your hands out on the rocks" I felt deep energy in my body when she said that. I have been there...and yes I know what she's talking about. She's so right. one cannot understand what she just said unless you have been there and seen and felt, and experienced it with ones own eyes with structures that seem as if to defy the laws of physics which could only be created by the hands of the Creator. This place will change you forever.
