I've had a silver one for 2 years (more or less) and bought second hand so overall 5+ years old. I have found a few issues. First, as you mentioned the securing arms are very weak and if you, like me, fill the pockets and make the separator heavy, then quite often the lid closes with significant force. The other issue is that for a case designed with air travel in mind, it's particularly vulnerable to the airport workers. We all know they just throw around stuff. Now my case weights around 15kg for the outdoor season, so dumping a case not made from super thick plastic almost guarantees that there will be breakages. And breakages have been. Especially around the handle (which unfortunately didn't have before and after photos to make a claim), but most importantly the axel of one of the wheels has bent to such an extent that the wheel half the time was not working and eventually disintegrated (that's clearly my fault not the case's). Having said all these, I think the case is very good overall but they could compromise in terms of the weight and use thicker plastic (like the old Samsonite cases) and somehow make the wheels airport proof. And the most important thing is that despite all this throwing around I haven't had any equipment breakages and my scope so far has made it through every trip in one piece.

If you put arrows in the foam, wont those small mesh bags get in the way when you close it?

Ive had an ABS rifle hard case for almost 30 years.. Maybe one day I'll get one for my bow, but archery stuff is soooo damn expensive

I have an interesting question to ask. Why in traditional Japanese archery is the bow held much lower instead of in the center?

The bows where designed for mounted archery, so instead of making a smaller bow, they held it lower to allow clearance between the bow and the horse

《 Darkedy 》 usually nothing, bows are considered sporting equipment (at least for me I shoot recurve)

I think my stabilizer would not fit. It's the Beiter in its longest form - and no, I do not need to compensate for anything. That's why I have a Striker archery soft case. I leave the front bag open just enough to fit my sewer pipe stabilizer protection case (patent pending) into it. Everything fits but on the dowmside I sometimes get stuck at door frames if I forget to duck (I'm 1.90 tall).
