Is the tiltboard built on top of a wide balance disk, or is it some other material underneath?

It's got a 100mm diameter disc on the bottom. The archer must keep the center of gravity within that diac for the entire shot, otherwise it 'tilts'. Only about 10mm, but this is enough to make a correction in balance and weight distribution.
