Archery Target Repair For Dummies

Ойын-сауық

I’ve been hesitant about fixing my targets the proper way for years. I’ve always just used cheap spray foam which sort of works but it never lasts long. I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Flex Foam-It target repair kit from 3riversarchery.com to test out and this stuff is worth every penny. It was pretty much dummy proof as you can see. The stuff holds up even better than the original. Overall it cost me 59 bucks to fix 2 really bad targets. If your smart and fix them early you can probably get a lot more targets out of one kit. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe and checkout our website omnivoresquivers.com

It's a good thing that she is the brains of this operation, Looks totally professional to me.🤣 If it doesn't work it has to be the humidity, couldn't be the operator whatever! When you read what the what the word were with your overvoice for the paint mixture Lol🤣😁

Best way to figure out the volume you need to fill the cavity it to use dry rice. wrap it with cling film. Then poke a hole in one end. insert a funnel into the hole. pour in dry rice till its full. you will want to smack it sense this has a lot of cavities and crevice's, this is done to get rice into every place. once full pour out the rice into a measuring cup of similar. then in this case divide the measurement by 4 and add a little on the top just incase. maybe an extra 10% of the final measurement. and that should be enough to fill the cavity. it works better on things that has more of a uniform cavity but it should work the same if you work the rice into enough of the different cavities and crevice's. Try a small batch with some alcohol based leather dye to dye it. It should work fine and work much better then the stuff you used. But always try a small batch before hand if your not sure if it will work. That way you don't destroy a whole project and waste a bunch of money. I only say leather dye as I know you have a lot and different colors at that.

I would really like to see someone just make a simple square target using the entire contents of one flex foam-it kit. Im curious to see how big the target could be and how well it would work for a indoor style target to hang paper 10ring targets.
