It's just air recover, the CPU tends to take too long to connect combos, so just mash any button when you're getting hit and eventually you might recover

@@gvnpgaming8264 oh and lastly : all initial D games are easy when you start, but they get extremely hard as you progress: legend of the street mode gets almost impossible after you completed it 6 times (what they call new game+6) And bunta becomes almost imposible to beat after getting to 10 stars. This is a game meant to be accesible for casuals, but addictive and gradually increased difficulty, that's how they make money with arcade games.
