This is where I started too, I got into loving harsh vocals because of bands like Arch Enemy and Lamb of God, although the vocal techniques are not as complex as Deathcore or death metal vocals. They will get there eventually. Everyone is a poser at first.

I was introduced to Arch Enemy through a reaction video, about a year ago and i've been hooked on it ever since. Alissa's vocals are incredible, to go between harsh and clean vocals..just wow!! Rock on!!!

She's totally amazing. I hope her voice holds out, as she gives it her all every time.

That being said, it means that the crowd noise we ARE hearing is being picked up by the stage mics, which is pretty incredible since they're overcoming the noise gate. I bet they were deafening at the actual show.

This is honestly one of the best songs on record. Not being biased at all because of being raised between JC & Carolina Coastal. Just a beautiful song on the real. Truth something forgot about by most nowadays.

I use that song as a power booster for the toughest sets during workout. There is nothing better during fighting for the last rep during your squat set than hearing "We are the strong..."

To enjoy music like this you need to be working on something or have a challenge of sorts. It kicks you in the butt and really gets you moving. This stuff gets millions of people in shape evey day, in gyms, out on roads etc. And don't forget about the live aspect. This music might sound too loud to be played at home. The reality is that this is a kickass live band. Many favorite artists out there are actually pretty lousy live. It's a sad time when one has to admit that the live sound of ones favorite music isn't really that exciting. This kind of stuff really kicks ass live. 😁🤘🤘🤘 Musical artists that can actually perform really well live are more "REAL" and the rest kind of fall away with time. This is my take on things. What I've learned growing up. One hit bands come and go. True performers stay. There's no playback either and if you compare the live sound to the albums it's sometimes even more enjoyable to listen to the live stuff. That is such a rare thing to beat the studio quality on several occasions, when playing live. That's no easy task. 😁🤘 Take care. Why Tuomas? Here's a guess: Nightwish had something of a revolving door in the vocalist position for a while. So it's quite possible that Tuomas had auditioned multiple singers, and had a pretty good handle on the vocal abilities, stage presence, personalities, and ease to work with for most of the top female metal singers. And thus, he might be a good person to ask if an already-successful band were looking for one.

Nicklas Christensen angela is also great, but I have to say that Alissa has something that I love and makes her unique in a way that maybe not everybody apreciates as me. Is kind of a fresh voice (? I don't know, I'm just too atracted to her voice 😅

In so many years I have been listen to arch enemy it's my love for this band that keep going. I miss going on live like this but one day I will see arch enemy. Also can we talk about the drum solo? 😍

from 2:53 until 3:24, that has got be some of the tightest drumming i have ever seen...as great as Alyssa is with that incredible voice...there is no doubt that that is some phenomenal drum work for sure!

Yep I've been in urgently fan for a long time and I think she's great I love the clothes that she wears and the whole band definitely is tight and everything and she's got a great ground and she's got a great nice singing song voice also and she kicks ass and she's a good front woman for the man and the rest of the band are awesome too so urgent to me kick ass love you

Good thing she didn't get through on Canadian Idol. We may never have had the Agonist or her involvement in Arch Enemy. I still miss hearing her clean vocals. There was something about her voice that always gave me chills, but God damn she's good with these so I can't complain too much.

Comparing Alissa and Angela. Stop it. Arch Enemy fans are lucky to follow a band that have had 2 truly fantastic vocalists. Nemesis is awesome with Angela, and is awesome with Alissa. This is a tough gig, top marks to both these ladies, love what they do.

3 vocalists. All three were amazing. Look up their earlier stuff, when Johan was the lead singer. You may like it as much as their newer stuff.

The beginning is Just fantastic. Like, wtf. Full high Tempo force of Drums and guitars right from the start underlined by her demonic growl to Scream Transition. The beginning alone is of immense Quality. I admire and respect those musicians.

This is just ... Perfection 🤘🏻

Masterpiece! This is really amazing! I love the performance of Alissa, she lives the song! I heard a horse at 1:12 :P xD
