In the game, her teaser video, and music videos, Jinx comes off as an overly happy, psychotic, carefree villain who likes guns and explosives. Arcane has done a phenomenal job giving the character depth, showing us her tortured past, all her conflicting emotions, all the life struggles she had to endure. She's not just a crazy gun nut, she is a person, she has layers. The accidental killing of her adoptive family/friends, Being abandoned by her sister, thinking Vi dead and then having mental conflictions when she sees her again, feeling jealous and abandoned again when she sees Vi with Caitlyn, almost dying on the bridge and being inhumanely "altered" to be kept alive, accidently killing her adoptive father in moment of mental stress. All of this explains her behavior in the game, taking place an undetermined time in the future. She's gleeful, happy, excited, mocking, loving every second she gets to shoot something or blow it apart. Her past is so damaged, so full of pain and sadness, that she buries it behind a crazed smile, a mocking remark, only letting herself frown when she goes home at the end of the day, and is left alone with her thoughts. She clasps her hands on her head and screams, then cranks the music and works late into the night on her next project, anything to keep the thoughts at bay.

Our world is so amazing & incredibly advanced, the more fact that your reading this comment means you have access to the internet & as a result near limitless entertainment. You can buy a window AC unit for a couple hundred bucks or a 1,500 watt electric heater for $20 & then live in a 100% climate controlled environment. This is actually amazing, just go outside on a hot humid sticky night & feel what it would be like sleeping in the forest with centipedes & spiders crawling on you, mosquitoes biting into your skin. We are so pampered in our morning world, sleeping in shelter that's actually scaled from the environment is just so amazing, not the richeat kings in the past could live like we do today. Also like we have GPS, just think how crazy that is. Anywhere on earth you can navigate with perfect precision better than any explorer of the past, all these random technologies we take for granted. It's hard to comprehend how amazing our world is.

Now I see. Jinx isn't "crazy", she's traumatized.

@@KookaburraSniper hopefully she can be redeemed I know Riot made Arcane for for the entertainment of the audience but still they should make her at least a little bit redeemable if not completely redeemed then at least let her be like Darth Vader when he saved his son and killed Palpatine because in case anyone hasn't noticed mental illness is increasing in the world today and it's only going to get worse in the future we can't just turn a blind eye to these people just because we think it might be too hard or think that they can't be saved.

I don't usually sit through credits with a series, but this one I did. The song was just too good and the end of the episode left me unable to move away

I have noticed that credits have been getting much better in recent years. Look at the credits to Mandalorian or Book of Boba Fett, also a lot of anime credits & intros have really good music & imagery that tell the story in a way that you'll only understand after watching the show. Intros & credits have improved so much in recent years!

If Vi has Vander, Jinx also has Silco as her father. Thought the ways teaching their children are different, both Vander and Silco love their daughters.

Its just that the price they pay for having a father-figure was each other. And the consequences of that price was the massive ramifications on the entirety of Piltover and Zaun.

I've never played LOL and I never will, but this show is without a doubt something special and everything in it has been really good so far; from the animation to the characters and story and music. Man, this show is fantastic.

This show was so good it almost made me consider playing it. But l will always choose my life over that game.

Her entire character is basically "The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth."

The ending of the 3rd episode had me on the edge of my seat. Can't wait for the new episodes tomorrow!

With how positive the feedback ARCANE has been recieving. I'm definitely sure another series will be cooked up or another season. Although the Lore for League is extremely long & confusing but, with how incredible Arcane is, I am positive there will be more in the future.

I watched the first 3 episodes and they were phenomenal on their own. Then I got busy, and checked on the series a bit alter, and saw all episodes are already out. So I watched the rest of it. Spent a restless night, then gave up on my attempts to sleep and watched the entire series in one go again. I didn't have terribly high expectations of this, I quit LoL very long time ago and fantasy movies and series based on games are rarely really good. This has completely blown my mind. It has no right to be this good. Everything is absolutely 5/5. The animation, the story, the dialog, the music... This series made me think about a lot of things in my life. And I already think I will watch it for the third time soon. It has so much to say. It's crazy.

Greatest animation from a Series I have ever seen. The style of animation and detail is precisely on point. Wow! And as for everyone hearing this amazing girl sing with her beautiful voice... Don't cry. You're perfect.

That swell at 00:50 had me starting to cry. I'm shaking.

Jinx is the most tragic villain I have seen. One just can't help but sympathize with her, and I would give her a hug if there was no risk of her shooting me.

This song is so damn good i already listened to it like a hundred times. The part where the goodbye starts always make me feel goosebumps. I use it to read the sad parts of manga nowadays. I just listened to it while reading demon slayer(akaza's past). Songs like these always make reading manga alot better. Thanks for the cover, love you my man

Animated movies always hit me more then watching live action movies. Never really cried to live action movies, But oh boy, have I cried when watching animated movies. The animated expressions and movement is so much clearer and the story telling comes through better in my opinion. It´s like when illustrations work better then photographs. Being entirely honest, this is one of my favorites of your covers. Your awesome music with Sorah’s beautiful vocals just works perfectly.

I always wanted to watch Arcane. Your soundtrack is the reason why . I am still shooked. Just finished the first 3 episodes. OMG The voice actor of Powder is so good. It felt too real.

I mean cause it’s a multiplayer game, there’s no real reason to make such in-depth lore unless it’s for a show like this. They just give us basic lore to know how they became their characters. There’s no story mode or anything, it’s just a waste of time to make more lore unless needed. I honestly think riot games should just make more animated series instead of games (cause their game is broken asf, this is the best thing riot has done in years). Also Blizzard should make a show or movie too, would be lit with Overwatch or WoW characters.

@@Bud_Buddha well they are making an MMO now based in Runeterra so it is time for Riot to go full speed ahead with the lore. With the massive success of Arcane we will definitely see more TV shows to come, maybe even theatrical releases and absolutely more books, novels, and comics

@@a-drewg1716 Damn I didn’t realize they were making a league mmo, that sounds hella dope. Got bored of MOBAs but I think league lore is one of the coolest. Would be amazing to see new shows and media based around league lore (Ionia would be incredible to see animated, specifically Zed and Shen but idk anymore since Arcane already has a sibling theme, but it’s a good place to set a new show in because of their war against Noxus and be able to show a lot of different league champs). I hope Arcane shows other game companies because they also have really cool characters and lore that I’d like to see in a story format.

Looking at the image of jinx clenching hair eyes and crying hysterically while listening to this legit makes me cry.

You will never know Jinx's real personality if you dont watch Arcane.I just feel sad when Powder and Vi can't be sisters like they used to be when they were kids after many Incidents.They used to fight with each other by using the pillow but now they have become enemies.Just Realize little Powder has became a psychopathic criminal,I just cried a lot.

shes not a psychopath though shes fully capable of feeling empathy. as for a criminal, so is vi, and ekko and vander. Vi's issue with her sister isnt the criminality its that she forgave the man who murdered their adopted father though even this is primarily brought on by the fact she can't accept her role in Powders mental breakdown.

​@@fionn2220 She feels just for those who can feed her selfworth and those she can project into. She kills without empathy or need everyone else and never reflects in how her actions hurt others. So yes she is kind of a sociopath.

​@@fionn2220 Also if something Vi blames herself too much and tries to ignore her own trauma while excusing Jinx behaviour blaming Silco or herself instead, until the moment Jinx faces her and shows that she is making her descitions now.

As a game, League of Legends never really interested me, but I always loved it's music, like Legends Never Die and that one Warriors cover (can't remember the cover artist unfortunately) but this is something else. Both this and the original song are brilliant. I'm gonna have to watch Arcane when I get chance.

As a league player Jinx’s lore in the game has been always boring and uninteresting. But after watching Arcane and seeing with they did with Jinx and actually give her a dark and amazing story. Just made me appreciate and love Jinx more.
