Arcana Heart 3 Love Max! - Parace Defeated

Christ, I can't believe I did this, this is one of those bosses that is so cheap, so overpowered, so broken that you have to have RNGesus on your side to win. Here is all that Parace can do to you:
Combo you for 50% off of anything
nullify all damage with her extend force in certain situations
teleport anywhere freely safely in a way that cannot be punished
use frame 1 supers beating anything you do unless you're already blocking
ranged command grabs
natural health regen
using super for extra health regen that is nearly impossible to stop
magnetize effect(extremely rare, only seen once)
a 4 hit attack that poisons, inverts directionals, slows you down, and assigns different functions for your buttons. You are essentially a sitting duck and risk walking forward into another attack once the directional reversal effect wears off.
Insanely fast high/low game that cannot be reliably reacted do, which is why jumping away so you can't get hit low on the ground is the best thing to do most of the time, even though she has several air unblockables she will use too.
And most of all, super fast burst and arcana meter regen. She will burst after 1 hit, rarely after 2 and most likely 3 or more once she has the opportunity so you are forced to hit hard and go almost straight into supers.
And yes, this took me weeks of trying on and off and continued god knows how many times.

Congrats on beating this she~devil I can totally understand how much pain you had to go through just to beat her she easily the hardest boss I have ever face in a fighting game.

The developers were really sarcastic when designing this character...... we can say that defeating Parace is more of a case of luck than anything else.

I, a noob, had beaten Parace L'sia, while using Kira's Kira Driver and Armageddon Buster, in Simple Mode. Her weakness is timed grab frames.

The easiest way to beat Parace L'sia is playing with Angelia and Orichalcos (Fiona's default arcana), don't attack her, only defend, when she use the recovery critical heart, charge arcana gauge and when you have the arcana gauge full, spam the critical heart and GG EZ xD.

Used this strategy yesterday. I lost the first round on purpose to charge arcana gauge. Defeated her in the second round barely having any life energy left myself. Luckily Angelia's EXF CH did 100% damage and killed her instantly in the second round. This happens when you counter Parace's super powerful CH in the right moment. In the third round I had to use EXF CH twice to finish her off. I played defensively to look for openings and use EXF CH. The real issue is to find the opportunity to charge the arcana gauge when you are constantly attacked. But it works if you retreat and block a lot, use Merlin to shoot her up in the air every now and then and especially when she heals up in her ice cocoon. It is still hard though and needs a lot of skill...

I thought The General was the most broken fighting game boss of all time. Then Emuser showed me this last night. EXCUSE ME WHAT THE FUCK.
If Culex from SMRPG was in a fighting game...... You've done an outstanding job pulling this off and thanks for the tips on how to defeat her. Now where is the tip on equipping you character with a lazy shell and jinx belt or rare scarf? Oh whoops, wrong game! :P

Empress_Of_Hearts Lots of patience and determination. Praying Parace actually opens herself up with a big attack at the wrong time. As far as I can tell she’s too ridiculous now after Vanilla AH3 to have any way of beating her consistently so you just have to keep trying without her diving too far into her bullshit.
So... when are you suposed to attack ?

The best part of this comment is that you don't have a clue what you are talking about. He is using Zenia's and Oreichalkos' specials all the time in his combos. Watch the video carefully. Maybe you mean that he is not using his character's or arcana's Critical Heart attack. Well for that you need 3 full meters of arcana gauge which he hasn't. He is trying to charge up by using Energeia though. I beat Parace by using Angelia's Extended Force CH attack. I don't understand why this should not be fair because every character and arcana has a CH in their regular moveset and can go into EXF. This is not considered cheating. It's called strategy and just another way of beating her. Playing defensively and blocking to charge up arcana gauge with Oreichalkos Energeia move needs skill. The EXF CH attack needs to be timed precisely as Parace has a lot of invincible frames. Learn the game.

@@LightKing1237 Where is the unfairness against a cheesy overpowered boss when you just use the mechanics the game offers you? Where is it spamming when I use a strong move only twice or even once in a round? The issue is to prepare that strong move by constantly defending and blocking against very strong attacks to fill up the arcana gauge. Fighting games are not only about offense and super cool combos. It's about strategy and using your brain. Try it out!

There's no way to play as her though normal means, for now there doesn't appear to be any way through mods/hack/other means either.

This one was rather annoying, but I used Oreichalkos and powered up twice before doing the following to Saki in the corner assuming the first hit gets her when she's on the ground: [4]6a - 2a 5c [4]6a-214a(just frame) Damage comes out to 10155 if you wanted to test in training mode against blossoms Saki.

The best part and the part lost in translation is that underage girls commit murder…yes, you kill Parace when she’s defeated as she surrendered her human form to be an Arcana, but she’s a false prophet so the spirit world just erases her completely. Mildred only got away with it because of Angelia, no such luck for Parace. She deserves it anyway. She does become an Arcana, but it’s so said to see this series reduced to mere kickstarter
