Road Fighter is a racing arcade video game developed by Konami and released in 1984. It was the first racing game from Konami. The goal is to reach the finish line within the stages without running out of time, hitting other cars or running out of fuel (which is refilled by hitting a special type of car).
Two loops played, both ending with rank 1.

ROAD FIGHTER was the first game, I have ever played on my old SpectraVideo 728 (MSX) as a little kid back in the late 1980's. 🐱👍🕹️
Despite having multiple sequels, the original Road Fighter is still my favourite especially the NES version
I used to play this on my dad's computer his friend emulated games on the PC in the late 90's.
I love the distractions in game.

2:26 Looks like that bullet train goes faster than 400km/h. Then another alternative bullet train happens at 5:55

You mean arcade version? Console ports always had to be downgraded. And as early as in 1984 they couldn't fit all the arcade stages on the cartridge.

@@KiKfilms Oh, it really was my misunderstanding, I thought it was on Famicom without checking at the title carefully. So, that's why it looks better.

Probally in the real arcade it isn't annoying.
Assuming you're going max speed for the entire 98 kilometers of the first race (you aren't, but I'm being charitable) and considering it only takes 57 seconds to cover that distance, you're actually traveling at 6,189.47 km/h. This is utterly pointless information, but I was curious. It's also meaningless, as there's no way you're covering a full kilometer within two seconds of starting the race. It's all made up with no pretenses toward reality.
