Was, and is. And I hope -after they followed it with Reflektor (which could have been, had they focused it more and put the best of it onto one, and not two albums) & Everything Now, which had 2 or 3 really good songs but otherwise missed the mark by a mile- that their 6th album, due out hopefully this year sometime (2021) will be astonishing too; they definitely have it in them to be, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Best concert of my life.

This song always pops into my head when something transitional has happened in my life. Like when I've just come to some conclusion about some long past issue thats been demonising me internally for years, or I've just turned a corner in life, gotten through something, achieved something, arrived somewhere new...that sort of thing.... My mind, is open wide now im ready to start...fucking yeah!

damn i just chanced upon arcade fire after years and rediscovering their work for the first time, and this exactly how i feel, you described it real well, some transition of deep past issue, trying to get through and toward something new.

listening to it a few months before moving to another city where I'll finally LIVE and BE MYSELF. I'm ready to start and I'm starting it.

Always bottling up my feelings. This band is one of if not the only one that makes me feel all kinds of things. For this, I thank them.

Today is my 35th birthday. I'm down 120 pounds and in a completely new space for the first time in my life. There is so much out there left to be revealed to me. I'm amazed. Never stop being amazed. This was a great first song to listen to on this special day. I'm about to go out for a run and kick some ass out of this day! :)

Always cycling instruments. Every 11+ member singing and playing their heart out. Every damn song either beautifully nostalgic and dark or hard and head-bangy. They are the best live band. And their albums are amazing too. Just the best.

This was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I love that the band members trade off the instruments they play. Such a talented group of people. Still have a great sound. One of my favorite bands.

I saw them live yesterday in Lollapalooza. An amazing experience. Such a beautiful show❤

BEST Album of the last 10 years. It has such a futurist vibe, maybe that's why it will never gets old.

I saw Arcade Fire a few years ago at Coachella - The music has always enchanted me, but I really appreciated their attitude - anti-VIP section message. I also loved how they played all of the way to the end of the noise ordinance time......and them kept on playing as the power was shut off!!!!! They just kept playing (with passion) walking through the crowd! I Loved it!!!!!

There's been so many brilliant bands in my lifetime since I was born in 1968. And so many before. But lloyd Cole and the commotions rattle snakes was the first. Then I have to say oasis. Then for a long time nothing grabbed me and punched me in the face till arcade fire. Made me feel young again this band has everything and more. Love them to death xx

when you love a music so much that your whole body and soul painfully ache to become one with the music... but the song goes by second by second and ends and you felt like you were about to touch eternity but just missed it... so you start the song again and it touches you so deeply you want to scream! and for the time it is playing everything is good and meaningful.

Yeah, that is what I heard. I unfortunately was unnable to attend to their concert. The tickets for the day they played were already sold out by the time i purchased mine. :-(

Arcade Fire are so underrated

I'm a bit of late comer to the Arcade Fire party. These guys are pretty fuckin good. Heard Rebellion on the radio recently and decided to check them out. Glad I did. Rebellion is a cracking song by the way.

God. When music was awesome. Glad. Came for it.

I saw these guys live once and I wish I'd gotten more into their music in advance. Support act were Pixies, and everyone in my gang was much more familiar with them. Even Arcade Fire seemed a bit embarrassed to be the headliner, they were literally telling the audience "if there hadn't been a Pixies, there wouldn't be an Arcade Fire".

As someone with mental health issues, the line: 'I would rather be alone, than pretend I feel alright' Spoke hard to me when I first heard this as a teen, it was a relief to have this song to listen to and be my friend.

I like this version better solely because of the way the tone *immediately* shifts at "if I was yours | but I'm not." One of the best moments in musical history for me, and I don't even know why. This isn't even my favorite Arcade Fire song.

There's a lot of firepower on that stage. Seems there's several people playing or capable of playing several different instruments. (Several durmmers, violin, etc.) Impressive!! If you can sit still watching this, I'd check for a pulse.

Usually I am into metal, but I really can't deny the artistry of these guys, they are pretty awesome!

This track has so much energy! I love it!

I'm mostly a psychedelic and space rock guy, but this tune popped up in my Pandora channel a few years ago and I'm so glad it did. Such a great tune and deep lyrics, I get chills every time. ✌🏻

Man, I will always love the intro of this song in this video, I don’t know, captures a kind of nostalgic feeling to make a leap of faith full of courage, it’s, beautiful, inspiring.

It's crazy to see the contrast from a concert in the early 2010s to one in the late 2010s. In that wide shot at 0:13, I see two people with smartphones out (or maybe they were digital cameras). By the late 2010s, that place would've been swarmed with glowing smartphone screens. In fact, even by mid 2010s you would've seen that change. It's nice to see people there just enjoying the moment.

I love it how they make great music and their lyrics always have so many meanings, it's a shame that it is so rare today...

Man I was scrolling through my instagram archive and found a picture of me and my ex-girlfriend very happy together at a museum. Getting over her has been so hard, thank you arcade fire for helping me move on :) it’s been such a slow process but I got this!

This is my favorite A.F. song of all the albums....so powerful.
