It can work in elsha as a finisher, every time you cast top from the top

If it was RWG, then you'd have access to keen sense and snake umbra, as well as food chain. But being limited to boros, this card isnt gonna see virtually any play in cedh. Boros needs some serious cedh support, but preferrably without just buffing Bruse/Thrasios. Like some red and/or white damage-draw auras/creatures would be great.

The other legendary card advantage 2 drop I'm more excited from this set is Basim Ibn Ishaq. 2/2 UB, you play a historic spell with him on the board, draw, and he becomes unblockable. If he deals combat damage to a player, you add a +1/+1 counter on him. It only triggers once per turn, but in Jodah where almost all my legendaries are low to the ground, you slot him as a tempo drop or just play another cheap Historic afterwards to draw the same turn. Then he just grows in threat, and I suspect most people won't immediately drop removal on a 2/2. Being cheaper than Jhoira makes it worth the slot imo.

I only imagine how you'd build him in 60 card.

My problem with Arbaaz is that on the 99 is worse than reckless fireweaver as pinger/outlet and worse than glinthorn bucaneer as curiosity target (since glinthorn actually wins the game in the cleanup if you have 8+ cards on hand) and their color identity makes it more restrictive as well. As commander its an outlet for curio loops with dockside (since Arbaaz pings on ETB) and maybe another similar loop that may be out there. Even so i think is still far away from playable on a cedh table.

How about in Sisay? It's legendary, so Sisay could grab it if you have Curiosity in hand. Plus, it's an ETB trigger, so other Sisay activations would trigger it.

I found another combo for Sissay, but it does take 4 cards, including 1 other bad card. Rukarumel (choosing pirate), Malcolm, and Emiel. Emiel is already in some builds that abuse dockside. Malcolm is solid. Rukarumel is bad. Abraaz isn't great either. You could have him be an outlet for Emiel/Dockside though. That's pretty good IMO. The advantage of these over Bolas / Aminatou is that you only need a 4/5-power Sissay. But then again, if you have Emiel/Dockside, that doesn't matter since you can get more colors before fetching Bolas

Arbaaz and Abdel combo. There are better ways

@@cedhtv love it, mayhem devil and dockside is usually my go-to wincon but this feels easier since it's mostly legendary

If you get a artifact discount card like cloud key, then sensei top is infinite drain with curiosity + arbaaz mir

Yeah but 4 card combo without any of the pieces being the commander is subpar

@@Savage_Mr_Bean14 yes, but you would likely run Top and an artifact discount card in a deck which needs a critical mass of historic spells to win.
