Great demonstration on how the side tarps are attached. It explained a lot of my questions. The side wings help in may different ways besides blocking out a low sun. Rain, Adding some warmth while cooking and privacy as you mentioned. Thanks again, Skillet

I see the card-Bordeaux is readily available. Grab a book chill and listen to the rain. Still a good day on the trail.

Got a little peek at your hot water system hanging there inside the RTT annex.... going to do a vid on that sometime? Or have I missed it?

Nice job with this video Mark! I have the ARB 2000 on the drivers side of my Rubicon and the 1500 in the back. I also have the room attachment for the 2000. I've been thinking about getting one or multiple side awning attachments and this video was very helpful to help inform my decision making. Since I have the room, I think I may just start with one for the 1500 so that I can adjust for windy or rainy conditions. I have my cooking setup in the tailgate area on one of those fold down tables. Do you happen to know if the 1500 side awning would be interchangeable so as to attach to the 2000 on the front or side? One other unrelated question - why do you carry two small tables instead of one larger one? Thank you for your videos and for sharing your insights!

What are your thoughts on the 270 degree awnings? Overkill? Thanks for your videos; they are incredibly detailed.

Thanks for watching! If we used a drawer system I would want a 270 awning. They have some negatives though 1) they are very expensive 2) they weight more 3) they are more impacted by strong winds 4) you can't really control where the water goes. The big advantage is when you have a rear builtin kitchen ie. drawer system, fridge slide, tailgate table... Using a 4' rear awing is almost useless, it does very little, where the 270 leaves only one side unprotected at the rear! The 270 is also easier for one person to set up. In the video, I uploaded today, I have footage of our ARB in 50 mph winds. That kind of wind would destroy the 270! I wouldn't say they are overkill, they are better suited for some configurations and not others. Just depends on your setup? Mark

@@markbouliane6289 That makes sense. Before watching your videos, I was planning on the fixed drawer systems I see all over KZread. After watching your videos, you sold me on the Pelican cases--enough to tear my back seats out and free a day to build a storage platform.
