Nissan should re-release these the same way Toyota still builds the 70's. One of the best/best looking 4x4's ever made. Would love to re-build one from the ground up too.

Great video! Love the Patrol Y60... Since '93 there is a Patrol in our family, and it was the first car i had driven after getting my driving licence. Just absolutely awesome car... Greetings from Germany

From my first G60 , GQ Petrol , then old MQ 2.8 Petrol to my 2 GQ TD42s that I have . I love my Patrols

the gq and ford mav are the same, ford australia just got the license to sell them from nissan

We used the TJ at a few different shows and event and then it was sold to one of our employees.

ARB4x4USA I was looking forward to seeing it in action in the outback. Always see the common vehicles like the larger Nissans, Land Rovers, Toyotas etc, wanted to see the smaller Jeep and how it handled the terrain.
I know the guy who bought that car off of ARB
No better car
A Landcruiser HJ61 with factory lockers would outperform all of these trucks on every aspect (except comfort). Just my opinion. Cheers

Land Cruiser Apart from the fact that they run leafs and they roll and lift wheels like no tomorrow. Cool rigs and good engines but definitely don't out perform coil sprung wagons.

So what if one of the front wheels lifts of the ground because wheel articulation on the HJ6 is limited? Engage the front locker and the wheel that needs traction gets traction :) Nissan never offered a factory front diff lock if I'm not mistaken? Land Rover never even offered a rear diff lock. Toyota has always been ahead of the game ;)

Land Cruiser patrols didn't need a front diff lock they go further then landcruisers with just an LSD

iv got both truck mate hj62 with a 2 h diesel and y60 rd 42 silver top 91 they are both tough trucks but gq looks classic
wd40 tested and proven.. 🗽
I have never seen any off-road car that looks better than the GQ Patrol. I have also never seen such ugly sunglasses

The Land Cruiser HJ60 and HJ61 (from which the GQ look might have been copied quite a bit).
