Happy 121st Birthday Aram! This piece is so beautiful & magnifico...,I can see where this has inspired several film scores.

Still today, this is the best rendition of this piece of music. Simply superb.

I saw this ballet Spartacus many years ago back home in the former Soviet Union . This performance is the best I ever heard . The Maestro is amazing . It is very sad that only few people were in the audience . Bravo Maestro !!! 🌹 . . Thanks for posting this video . Spasibo .

Watch the ballet with Carlos Acosta and Nina Kaptsova... superb dancing to this glorious music/ I think this was a rehearsal only

I will always remember The Oneden Line and captain Bains. My late wife and I enjoyed it so much.

Wow!! There is no machismo in me whatsoever but I admit I usually don't like see ladies conducting. But Miss Ahn caught me by the throat and didn't let go until I was asking for more. She managed to make these 10 minute of beautiful music astonishingly beautiful. The way she moves, her expressions, the way she shows her feeling for the music, the way she "shapes" the sound is uncommon. A new rising star I hope.

Thank you! This is my favourite piece of music and seeing you enjoy it as much as I do is good for my soul.

This piece is absolutely mesmerizing, it gets in your brain in a way that takes you to some other place, a beautiful rendition and I can't imagine the hard work behind the scenes. Absolutely brilliant.

Just rename this masterpiece "Conductor goes naked" and see the views rise a thousandfold. It is a sorry excuse for the state of humanity and the world we live in today that this gets so little views.

Absolutely beautiful! The music moves through her. Taps into the soul. Is as luscious as a banquet of the gods.

Ms Ahn, you are a brilliant conductor and I hope I have the pleasure of seeing you one day. You are the only conductor I have heard and seen who brings that great roll of timpani, cymbal clash and bass drum really out after the great build up. No other conductor I have seen does it like this. It's wonderful to hear, thank you

I think it was a rehearsal, it was something I mentioned. What brilliant playing under a great baton.

It was the theme music used for the tv series The Onedin Line. What wonderful music Khatachurian wrote... excellent conducting by Yeo Ryeong Ahn and playing by the orchestra.... one can feel the power of the music.. thank you so much. I have gone and listened to other versions in the last 2 hours and yours stands out. Your way of conducting, very smooth while bending to the glorious music, very, very nice.

The Onedin Line TV series was a very long time ago. I was only a schoolboy then and I am now well into my 60's. Us schoolboys found it amusing that one of the characters on the TV series was called 'Master Bates'

I would love to see you conduct Scheherazade with this orchestra... maybe one day

I believe the series Onedin Line may of used this as their theme tune but this was originally composed by Aram Khachaturian in 1954 and 1st performed in 1956 in Leningrad.

I enjoyed this beautiful music in The Hudsucker Proxy, a film which was made by the Coen brothers in 2002 . . I think. The way that they worked it into the story was very amusing too.

Beautiful, an amazing performance. I just can't understand the audience who look bored and unimpressed by this incredible rendition. There wasn't even a hint of appreciation or applause when the orchestra finished. Totally baffled by their lack of interest or reaction to the music.
