Arabic Video 1 - The Alphabet

This is the first of a 4-part series on Arabic pronunciation. The goal is to get familiar with the sounds of Arabic and the IPA symbols. You'll then be able to learn them faster, either through your own studies or through my pronunciation trainers. More links below:

    Well done, and very useful. As a native who's proficient at MSA, I want to point out one little glitch: there is no such a thing as ( سكون ‌ْ ‌above شدة ّ ) A shadda isn't pronouncing the consonants longer, they're rather pronounced as *Double* the sound. So دب is actually دُبْب .. this Diacritic Shadda(شدة) counts as a letter, and can hold the three other diacritics (ضمة، فتحة، كسرة ) just not the Pause diacritic.. that is absolutely wrong.
