Enjoyed the "apocalyptic guitar solo"

I heard this song for the first time this past summer after receiving a cancer diagnosis. A song like this hits on a whole different level when you’re waiting for test results, surgery, scheduling and pathology reports. it’s a bleak song on the surface, but it was a rallying song of defiance when awareness of my mortality threatened to overwhelm me. Everything turned out well, thank heavens. But man, this was the song I needed in that uncertain time.

This is why I like December and its 'The Best Of" year lists as you always find that one hidden gem that otherwise you would have never heard. This year its this one.

First contender for the album of the year. This song is majestic, so poetic and ambiental. Arab Strap are just amazing.

Heard this on BBC radio 2 the other night, loved it and wanted to hear it again. Glad it was on here - the video was awesome. Keep up the good work.
