I don't think they're always depressing, they're just real, not caught up in all the fucking bullshit love songs that get pumped out the radio every day, capture the gritty side of life that makes life what it is.

Seeing them in under a month in Manchester! Never thought I'd get the chance to do so. Up there in my favourite songs ever written.

It always gets me in this calm sort of mood. I'm coming back to this video over over, it's like a drug. I would give up everything to experience this song as if I heard it for the first time again.

Aye us Scots can pull it out our ass sometimes lol the 90s were a good time for Scotland musically (and the UK as a whole musically of course), Arab Strap, Mogwai, Bell and Sebastian, Teenage fanclub, Geneva (so happy I saw them for their very brief flash) The Delgados...

Thanks CHkilroy, listening to Arab Strap is like taking a big bag of heroin; depressing but moorish. Also both heroin and Arab Strap are particularly popular in Scotland.

Seriously one of the best songs ever made.
The bit about the kiss always gets me.
