    At the same time the surrounding Arab states were talking about how they would invade and ethnically cleanse the Jews from the land, which is exactly what they did the moment the plan was put into place. The fact of the matter is, there never should have been a partition. Jews and Arabs should have built a secular state together.

Ali ra as well as hussein ra never practised shiaism, they were the followers of prophet Muhammad pbuh and were following his sunnah. Pure real Islam is the sunnah of our prophet and Quran, anything else of bidaa and politics has nth to do with islam.

    Thanks Mark for this video ! My grandmother was a Palestinian Christian that got driven out of her home and was a refugee in Lebanon. She married a Lebanese Christian and through him got the citizenship. Here are some sad facts related to this conflict : - In a letter to his son in October 1937, the Israeli prime minister Ben-Gurion explained that partition would be a first step to "possession of the land as a whole". He had no intention of respecting the partition plan. Ben Guiron also said the following : “If I were a Palestinian leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?” - Another quote by Ben Guiron in 1939 : “Let us not ignore the truth among ourselves … politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves… The country is theirs, because they inhabit it, whereas we want to come here and settle down, and in their view we want to take away from them their country. … “ - Thirty years before the UN partition plan more than 90% of the population was Palestinian. I don't think there's anywhere in the world where people would accept without a fight that a group of people from a different continent shows up and declares that they are more entitled to the land than the people who have been living there for generations and generations. Being opposed at the 'very beginning' isn't something people can hold against Palestinians. The land was taken over by a foreign power, foreign peoples were placed there, with the land forcibly divided between them. It's like saying Native American tribes should have "acted in good faith" when the colonists arrived. - What’s more, why would Palestinians accept to partition their land with people that saw them as sub-humans ? Articles in publications by a Zionist political party of the time (Lehi) wrote about Jewish "master race", contrasting them with Palestinians who were a “nation of slaves”. Lehi was unabashedly racist towards Palestinians. Their publications described Jews as a master race and Palestinians as a “slave race." Lehi called for mass expulsion of all Palestinians from Palestine and Transjordan, or even their physical annihilation. - John F Kennedy visited Palestine in 1938 and witnessed many terrorist Jewish groups bombing other Jews and trying to blame the Palestinians for it. - By the way the Cannanites were living on the land waaaaay before Moses and his Hebrew tribe came and “physically annihilated” the goyim as “commanded by god”. But oops...Turns out most Lebanese, Palestinians and Syrians have canaanic ancestry so NO, they did not manage to exterminate the native canaanites. - Israel started a war in 1967 with Arabs with the sole intention of annexing more land. - In 1981, a cease-fire was signed between the PLO and Israel, on one hand, according to a UN report, Israel violated the cease-fire 2,096 times (web.archive.org/web/20081202004040/domino.un.org/unispal.nsf/9a798adbf322aff38525617b006d88d7/687deff0fe05590a85257019006e4036!OpenDocument). On the other hand the PLO "took great pains not to violate the [ceasefire] agreement of July 1981" and "the border between July 1981 and June 1982 enjoyed a state of calm unprecedented since 1968." [Morris, Righteous Victims, p. 509] - Israel has zero interest in any future peace agreement with the Palestinians, and politicians like Netanyahu and his right-wing fanatics have been ensuring that there is no longer any 2-state solution possible, leaving them with only a single option, which involves "annexing" all Palestinian territory and keeping the Palestinian people forever as 2nd class citizens under apartheid rule, because allowing them voting rights would mean the immediate change of Israel away from being the "Jewish state" into being a secular state, something the right-wing extremists currently running the country will never allow. - Ben Gurion also warned in 1948: Assuring his fellow Zionists that Palestinians will never come back to their homes: “The old will die and the young will forget.”

Our people are suffering, especially minorities. Hate has become "normalized" thanks to Trump. We want the world to know we stand with Palestine and we feel your pain. Americans do not like our tax money being used to fund apartheid Israel's bloodthirsty war machine. Apartheid? Israel has over 1.9 million Israeli Arabs with equal rights, freedoms and opportunities, there are notable Israeli Arabs in all industries and even have an Arab party on the Israeli parliament, Israeli Arabs are respectable Israeli singers, actors, politicians, doctors, proffesors etc. You say Israel is bloody? What genocide? The Palestinian population has quantrippled since 1967 from 900,00 to over 5.4 million today, that makes their birthrate at the high of 3% meaning the average Palestinian mother has 4.78 kids that means the Palestinian growth rate is amongst the fastest and largest in the Arab world....that's the exact opposite of a genocide, either Israel is the worst at genocides or you're just a terrible lier! As well Israel is extremely diverse, street signs are in Hebrew, Arabic and English and the streets are filled with every colour, religion and language, Israel is extremely liberal and has offered the Palestinians land, peace, money (and actually left many settlements and gave lands and money) to the Palestinians for peace and everytime it was rejected and terrorism continued...they choose to fight through killing the innocent rather than actually making a state! Israel offered 16 times and the Palestinians rejected the same amount of times, *seems like Israel and the world want a free Palestine more than the Palestinians!* 😂😂

    Unfortunately there’s absolutely no scientific, historic or even archaeological proof for your claims! Moreover, there’s more historical proof that the Palestinians of today are mostly Arabs from the rest of the Arab world, mainly from Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, etc. The Palestinian family names reveal exactly where they came from, so no, they are not indigenous to that land and not even remotely close to the ancient Filistines or Canaanites. Trying to twist historical facts just to gain political power over that land won’t work in this case.

  • @alyas3953

    @alyas3953

    GPB Western perceptions of the East Mediterranean have been formed by a complex variety of factors, many imaginary, others real. Canaanites were looked at as unworthy and inferior demonic pagans. The Canaanites are supposed to descend from “Canaan” son of Ham, one of the sons of Noah. Canaan was cursed by Noah into slavery for no other reason than that Ham happened to see Noah’s Nudity. This messed up notion of an “idealized beneficent land” along with the concept of a people being favored and “chosen by God” and granted the right and the privilege to take it from its unworthy occupants is all reminiscent with other colonist projects such as the Americas, South Africa, and Isra*l. The larger Cana’an region didnt always identify themselves as a nation of a unified entity-since it was never an empire and it consisted of a lot of groups of city states and communities and other tribes and civilizations. ‪ The term “Arab” is very traversable and pliable in its connotations. Partly due to associations and history. Its complexity and multi faceted character, as it has been demonstrated in travel writing and literature which ranges from provoking fear, demonization, identification, idealization etc. One dimension of its significance of course is this stereotype of the nomadic life. The desert. Just like the sea itself or any other open fluid or landscape generates a variety of impressions and interpretations. For the “conservatively civilized” or reserved religious mind the desert is seen as “dangerous” and “uncontrollable”, a “desolation” and the nomad who lives in it is unpredictable untamed savage or evil. Throughout history of western usage, the term “Arab” has been confused with various other destinations and identities, such as “Saracen” “Muslim” “Turk” “Moor” and of course “Ishmaelite” and “Bedouin”. The main problem is that the image of the “Arab” fluctuates between that of the romantic desert nomad and that of the dangerous savage just as the people using the word “Arab” often confused Bedouins with other “Arabized” people in the region. Palestinians, Lebanese, and Syrians are ARABIZED. They are a mix of all the peoples that have resided in the Levant. The indigenous people of the levant, descended largely from Arameans, Canaanites/Phoenicians, etc. Levantine culture is nothing like Arabian peninsula culture.‬ It is easily to exploit this confusion, especially if the intention is to vilify the people of the region, who are all then portrayed as “Arabs” Yet, when the biblically obsessed read the narratives about the nomadic “Israelites” they identify with them and see their values in a positive light. It was thus possible for an educated Englishman in the 17th century to transfer the Spanish term and refer to Palestinian villagers as “Moors” or for an 18th century traveler to fear the “Arabs” (Bedouins in this case) with no cause, and still assume the townspeople are all “Turks” or for a 19th century Cambridge professor of Arabic suggesting that the ”Bedawin” should be exterminated, for a US navy commander on an “expedition” to the Dead Sea to be instantly ready to shoot “Arabs” (whose image he meshes in his prejudiced mind with indigenous North American Native Americans and Black people. And the ancient Moabites of “incestuous origin”) on first suspicion of imagined treachery. Zi*nism relies on and employs all of these associations. You have been fed the infamous warped zi*nist propaganda. You have a lot of learning to do.

  • @GPBKM

    @GPBKM

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@alyas3953 , LOL!!! You blame me for being fed with "zionist propaganda" when you are obviously brainwashed by Islamo-Fascist propaganda yourself... The simple truth is that the Palestinians of today are mostly Arab work immigrants, who now ridiculously claim they are indigenous to that land and demand a country they never had there before! Only by Palestinian last names you can get the truth of where they came from, like Al-Masri which means from Egypt, or Al-Bagdadi and the infamous Tamimi family who are from Iraq, etc.... Every single Palestinian family name shows the origin of where they came from! You can't deny that, no matter how much you will try to rewrite history.

In my country we have 2nd, 3rd and up to 5th generations who have either Lebanese, Syrian or Palestinian descent. We also have many Israelis who came from Argentina and less from Israel. Israelis established here and taught us how to cultivate in arid lands, thanks to them! . Now, kibbeh, tabbouleh and malfuf are almost considered national Dominican foods (we are crazy you know). I think it's more the other way round. You are killing Palestinians much more than they have killed you. But judging from your username you will have been raised on hasbara. Shalom

    @@sir_humpy Based on what I know, most of the Algerian are native Amazigh people who speaks an Arab dialect. Actually there is almost no real arab in Algeria. But same can be said in Lebanon, Egypt or most of the arab countries. The population is not Arab at all, just arabized.

    Very powerful video! Great work, Mark! It's absolutely awesome that you mentioned many great facts about Palestine such as history and food. Palestinian cuisine is diversified and delicious and Palestinian history is very rich and has deep roots for thousands of years. It is a great land and it's sad that people there still can't have their freedom and that they've been struggling for basic rights for a very long time as they are still living under occupation and discrimination. In addition to what Mark mentioned, there are many other beautiful Palestinian cities, towns, and villages which were occupied by Israel in 1948 bu they are now fully controlled by Israel. However, we should never forget that they are Palestinian towns and their native residents were forced to leave their houses when Israel was created in 1948. Really sad and unfair...
