Thank you for your efforts on making this video. Algeria is a beautiful place with a variety of landscapes and cultures. I hope things get better in the future!! you forgot to mention Algiers national park which is the biggest Park in Africa consisting of thousands of Plants and trees. Fun fact: the first Tarzan movie was filmed there . Also one of my favourite facts is inside the Churche of Notre Dame D'afrique in Algiers you can find a writing on the wall that says : ( Notre Dame D'afrique, Priez pour Nous et pour les Musulmans) which means : our Lady of Africa, Pray for us and for the Muslims. which depicts an incident where a group of Nuns were protected by Muslim locals during a period of religious conflict. Ah without forgetting the amazing Chaabi Music. Like abdelkader and ya Rayeh :D

It feels soo good to see great videos and read all those love comments about my country we love you too 🇩🇿💕 This video made me realize that I don't have to visit another country to have a great vacation
Great video Mark! Just a small detail: in Algeria there's both a Chakchouka dish (which is the usual Mediterranean dish) and the ChaKHchouKHa (the 1st picture). Although they're different but they both taste super delicious and I highly recommend them, especially the ChaKHchouKHa, it's just wonderful !

Constantine is actually the oldest city of africa and even (with damascus) of the world . Constantine whitch used to be called Cirta was the capital of Numidia and it s older than rome

@@aminelak1452 no, numidia and carthage existed before the romain invasion of north africa; once the romains came numidia or algeria became "mauretania cesarea" or morétania al keysaria in arabic with the capital "cherchel"

there was Numidia and carthage , then the romain invasion whitch destroyed the north african kingdoms and north africa became 3 or 4 roman provinces (mauretanea cesarea or nowadays north algeria, mauretanea tingitana or nowadays morocco, and tripolitana or nowadays north lybia , and I think that north tunisia used to be called ifrikiya whitch gave the word africa from 2 berber words ifri + kiya. After the declin of roman empire we even had the vandales for about 1 century, and then the byzantine put them out . And onces arabs came there has never been a arab dynastie in algeria , except the kairawan aghlabide kingdom of east algeria/tunisia/lybia/ malta/sardinia/sicilia; The other dynasties were mostly berbers (zirids, zianids, rostomids, zenata,hafsids,hamadits...) untill the ottoman period

My mother was from Algeria and I'm basically half Algerian by blood. Sadly she died when I was a toddler so I never got to learn about that side of my family or her culture. Watching these videos feels like a way of connecting to her. Thank you!! Perhaps I'll visit Algeria someday.
Papapah🇨🇵🇩🇿🏴☠️ Great video🙏💪(you've got a cool and good french pronounce)
