To say a stone has the same power as God to forgive sin is pagan and Muslims need to explain where their traditions and beliefs came from, because it is NOT the practice expected from a follower of the God Yahweh.

@@jester56the stone doesn’t do us any good or harm. It is a special stone that was brought down from heaven to prophet Abraham him he was building the Kaaba. So, yes only god can forgive your sin and no I’m is needed to die for him to forgive us.

When I was a christian, my mind was focused on the dream of salvation and deciphering the bible. As a muslim, I am focused on prevention and fulfilling what god tells us through the quran and hadiths. It is a beautiful thing how clear allah’s guidance is in islam.

May Allah grant you your wishes. I highly suggest you learn Arabic and read the Quran its original language. It’s far beyond anything your mind can possibly imagine. Whenever I talk to people and this topic is brought up I say that being an Arabic speaker is one Allah’s biggest favour on me.

I hope you read this Andrew because I was also a Lebanese Christian and was worried about the implications of reverting within my community. However, I knew that I couldn’t live a lie for the rest of my life and that I had to accept the truth, regardless of what people thought. This isn’t to say that I have fully dealt with that issue me being open about my reversion is an ongoing process, but I believe that Allah will make it easy for me insha’ Allah when the time is right. Moreover, I do my best to show the changes in my character by showing how I restrain myself from doing certain things I used to do and denouncing the way people conceive God and I’m hoping that through that people can understand the direction I’m heading towards. Ultimately, you won’t choose to revert for anyone but Allah and yourself and hopefully to also be a good example for those who have the Fitrah within them. Everything takes time but Allah is the best of planners and when everyone needs to know they will. I hope you are guided to Islam khayeh Ameen.

Always test your peers knowledge don't follow blindly The Prophet (ﷺ) wrote the (marriage contract) with `Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).

It's extremely hard for arab Christians to revert to Islam because of rooted national identity tribalism. It's well known that they get persecuted by family, community and church to the point of torture and death. It happens alot in Jordan and Egypt

Subhan Allah, I’m Lebanese, and I’m really happy to see that Christians in Lebanon think like that. Very intelligent. Andrew, if you read this, just know that after Allah sent the first Prophet to humanity, none of the other Prophets would have came if people didn’t go astray with time. Every Prophet came after people went astray, either by their own ignorance and arrogance or because their book was not preserved. So each Prophet came to bring the people back to the true religion.

Allah will test you as mentioned in the Quran. “Do the people think that they will be left to say, “We believe” and they will not be tried?” (29:2) Indeed We have tested those who were before them. So Allah will surely know the ones who are truthful, and He will surely know the liars (29:3). One of the tests could be your family, friends, or community. That doesn’t mean it should be a hurdle in your way. Trust Allah and he will find ways for you. “And He will provide him from sources unimaginable to him. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose.” Salam

@@damien341If you will be persecuted you don't have to tell anyone. Take the Shahada(which you can do at home by yourself, it is between you and God), pray 5 times a day, Eat halal Nobody has to be involved in your personal relationship between you and God.

As a lebanese myself, people need to understand how DIFFICULT it is to make these kind of life changes specially when lebanese is HEAVILY devided in politics that stands on the basis of 'religion'

On the issue of QADER AND QADAA….I always explain it as follows. When you participate in a game where you have a choice between door nr 1 nr 2 or nr 3, the gameshow host already knows what is between each door. So the outcome of any of your own choices are known by him. Difference between Allah swt and the gameshow host is that HE also has knowledge which one you gonna choose before you even chose it. So pre-determined destiny and free will/choice go hand in hand

The thing is, even the word being discussed, doesn’t properly apply to a man who enters a committed relationship publicly with a young woman who has reached menarche. Even according to Western experts. It refers to a person who has an OBSESSION with a particular prepubescent age group, and he/she loses interest in the child once that developmental stage is over and moves onto a younger victim.
