Sometimes i wonder when they want to change old classes icons and effect, i mean most of it are copypaste (either effects/icon) from other class. I mean look at VHL, DH, Scarlet Sorcerer for ex, they have aestheticly accurate representation of spells of their own class

well mage is fine but i agree i also think starter classes need a rank 10 passive or better yet, an upgraded version once you get to rank 10 for example you get rank 10 mage and say your level 30 or 50 plus, you unlock wizard class maybe a few other requirements, just somthing to reward people who like the starter classes without making them broken and without having to make a completely new class.

@@expressrobkill sounds fair, im also thinking about evolving a starter class would be great too, i mean upgrading tier of the class, like if you start as a Mage and hit max lvl, then you can go to Tier 2 or more ( Mage T1 > Sorcerer T2 > Archmagi/Arcanist T3 or Rogue T1 > Renegade T2 > Assassin T3, etc), well for free.. not mentioning for the exclusive upgrades to unlock tiers. This makes original classes has more interesting choices for players to advance their gameplay.

Well, this might take a bit long but here it goes. About your list: - Archpally: Agreed on everything on it. I wish instead of beign that nuke, it was a mini-nuke with WAY shorter cooldown and damage based on stacks. That would make the class WAY faster for soloing since the class can do well against most bosses yet it takes soo long to take the higher-hp ones. - Master Ranger: Agreed too. No real reason to use the skill, the DoT is nice but, the nuke is WAY better. Maybe they should change it a bit to make its damage apply to both or make they hit deal a bit more of damage. But pretty much usseless skill.. - Troll Spellmith: Here is kinda weird. As far as i know, at least in PvP this skill is quite helpful, even more if you're using 5k amulets (more HP = more higher crits you need to get to compensate the mana consumtion). But other than that, in PvE is not that useful (also i don't use TS a lot since Frostflame skill is buggy, sometimes it doesn't proc). - Eternal Chronomancer: Yes, quite usseless pasive. If the skill was that could apply the buff to all other players, no matter what class they are using, this class would be an amazing support also. But sadly, thats too good to exist, right? - Chunin: Yes, doesn't make sense at all. They could just maybe weak a bit your damage or such, but a 4 seconds stun?...Hmm.. - Flame Dragon Warrior: I like the class, just wish it was diferent. I don't know why the last skill doesn't scale with stacks, or at least had effects that raises up with the stacks. But well, a lot is wrong with this class to be honest xD. - Deathknight: I have no idea why this class is a member class but well. The class is already really weak and well, what you said just overkills it. Maybe a class-rework is needed here. Well, heres my personal picks: - Arachnomancer/Archfiend/Beastmaster: They 3 have the same problem: wrong mana regain model. Arachnomancer you may justifie the Rogue mana regain model with the "18% dodge chance passive" but 1- Is not something you SHOULD trust in, since is RNG based 2 - Is suppose to be a support class, if the enemy is hitting your allies and not you, you won't gain that much mana back and well, you can't do your support job well. Archfiend lacks heavily on sustanied damage to justifie it's Mage regain model, just 2 skills do high damage, but they don't deal high enough (less if it doesn't crit), they have high cooldowns and the other 2 skills : 1 - Is a buff that sucks a lot of mana 2 - Mark of death barely does Light damage. Beastmaster is the same as Archfiend, low skill damage with a Mage regain model (At least with unstable is a bit less bad but still RNG) but at least Beastmaster is somewhat useful for soloing. - Pyromancer's Withering Blast: Why is this skill is an AoE ability? First, is the only AoE of the class but is not a good AoE, doesn't deal that much damage. Also it has sinergy with the Scorch mechanic on the class. But the problem is that you can only apply Scorch to 1 enemy at once, so it doesn't make sense for me to be an AoE ability. But that's just me i guess - Dragonslayer/Undeadslayer in general: Why does this classes exists if one of them can't slay dragons effectly and the other takes too long to beat down undeads with? Also Talon's Twisting skill is so weird.I don't get exactly how it works. In the end, is just better off going for other class rather than this ones. - ShadowStalker of Time rank 10 passive: Does it even procs? Even exists? I have gotten most ranks 10 passives to get a single proc at least, yet never seen this one working. Anybody else have seen it, please tell me cause I've never had the chance of see it. - No class: You're a normal person, yet you can't yell at your enermys and throw rocks at them, just cheer them up...(lol) Pretty much it, can't think of more but well, is mostly because i'm used to a lot of classes xD. Good video!

Here's a suggestion to add in a possible part 2 to this. Dragonslayer General's Drake Tongue, and Ancient Rites. First, Drake Tongue. It's an AOE that strikes up to 6 targets. Ok. Nice. Except, it's the ONLY multi-target skill in that class. Now, sure, Mage, for example, has Explosion as the only multi-target skill, BUT, in Mage's case, the cooldown is 3 seconds, so you can keep attacking the other targets with no problem. But for DSG, it's 20, meaning that using it will only make 5 extra targets attack you, while you can only hit one at a time for the next 20 seconds! And then we have Ancient Rites... oh boy. So... the 4th skill, Piercing Wyvern's Eye has a stacking mechanic, called Keen Eye, in which every time you use it, you gain 5% more hit chance, crit chance and crit damage, stacking up to 5 times. Ok, good. Except for the fact that Ancient Rites uses the stacks of Keen Eye to raise your defense by 40%. However, Ancient Rites also applies Talon Twisting, which uses 50% of the damage you received to damage your opponent back with your auto attack. And also, after 12 seconds, it heals you by 25% of the damage you dealt. So basically, you deal damage based on how much damage you took, and then get a heal based on the damage you dealt... but if you stacked Keen Eye to increase your damage, then the same skill also raises your defense, which lowers your damage with it, which also lowers the heal you receive after 12 seconds. Seriously, WHO MADE THIS SKILL? Oh and as a bonus, Classic Dragonslayer's Bane of Scales reduces the damage you take by 30%, and it has a Rank 4 passive called Resolute which reduces the damage you take by 10%, but it also has Talon Twisting, so yet again, it will reduce the damage you take, but also deal damage based on how much damage you take and it doesn't even heal in this version... jeez. (Though at least in Classic DS, this is more of a switch between offensive mode and defensive mode. Except for the fact that your passive will increase your defense whether you like it or not.) And as a bonus bonus, for reaching so far in this comment, Shadowscythe General's Shadow Blast has a 50% chance to stun your targets for 1 second. 1 second doesn't seem like much... and it isn't. Shadowscythe General's shortest cooldown skill is Shadow Slam, and the cooldown is 4 seconds, meaning that if you even stun the enemy, it's not like you're gonna do much in the meantime because you literally can't do anything because of the cooldowns. Sure, you also get Rush of Unlife, which increases your haste by 40%, but still your cooldown for Shadow Slam will still be around 2.4 seconds long. So... your 1 second stun is a 50% chance to allow you to do absolutely nothing. Unless you're in a party, but still.

The cool thing about chi blast is that it doesn’t stun you if you make sure all enemies will die from the damage. It added a kinda cool timing dynamic to the class back when it was one of the top farming classes. But nowadays since it gets easily outpaced and blazebinder exists... the skill just feels like a hinderence. But I like the idea of a skill that rewards players for timing in a specific way, although knowing AE this was probably unintentional.

Still waiting for NO CLASS overview.

Another weird skill is Frozen heart on glacial warlord. It increases your critical chance but one of the class' passives reduces your luck by like 20 or 30%

The thing about Troll's mana heal is that it used to have mana problems years ago, at a time when the max level was 50.

1 dislike is from the one person in AE who designs every skill of each class that shim was talking about

Chroniccorruptor’s hot/dot always drove me nuts. I know it was supposed to be like chaos shaper, but at least with chaos shaper you could apply the skill often, giving you more chances to heal. But with corruptor they made it so it consumes your stacks, making it way worse than the original chronomancer, and extremely punishing when you get the crappy DOT that can’t even be combo’d with the nuke.

Exalted Harbinger's Soul Leech works the exact opposite way of its' class' purpose. The class is most effective at low health and i know that using it can help you recast Blood Price but at the same time in order to max out your damage you're supposed to keep your health drained.

Idk if its just me darkblood stormking is good but the ult/last skill just doesnt really make sense to me when everything stacks off the first skill

'Elemental Dracomancer's' 'Duradun's Scales' ability. I'm not complaining, it's one of my favorite skills; It not only gives you a nice chunk of mana but it also reduces your incoming damage by a ton, all at no cost (unless you count the skill slot as a cost). It's pretty overpowered and makes no sence.

I do havethat class and I can 100% agree. I just hope they tackle that soon and officially change it's mana regeneration model. I bet that alone, will make the class good enough to par with the latest ones.

Those skills don't even do what they are supposed to do, or their effect is completely broken. I'm not gonna explain all of it, but you can try to figure out on your own. Paladin Highlord's Light Wave, BattleMage's Arcane Devastation, Defender's Defender's Oath (it has no cap in blocking DoT), Card Clasher's red and blue cards, Chrono Dragon Knight's auto attack (it does physical damage even tho they claim it is magical), ChronoCorruptor's Shiftburn (it can apply effects even if the skill misses, it was intentional, but there are only 3 classes in total that can do that), Dragon Knight's DoT ticks twice as fast as regular DoT, MechaJouster's rank 10 passive does not work, Elemental Warrior's rank 10 passive does not work, MindBreaker's rank 10 passive does not work,.

Time Killer's Relive the Past skill, Its flat out useless because the damage is not good and the DoT is a 205 per tick.. and it doesn't even give any buffs/debuffs or wait Time Killer as a whole class barley does anything other than stunning or reducing haste, the only thing i will give it is it's fast mana regen, the HoT sucks still though

hmmm we need another rpg like this one a 3d one with big lore cool classes and more than 3000 armors/sets... or you know the devs of this game could actually work on it for more than one day and make it the best rpg there were... but i ques what stays the same for 10 years stays the same for ever...
