I noticed you used spiral carve and avoided the 5 skill as a result. Use health vamp. Health vamp has a chance to do true damage on auto attack, meaning your auto attack has a chance to ignore all buffs and debuffs against the target. Health vamp effectively ignores the damage debuff from your 5 while keeping the haste. That's how you use Vamp Lord.

Woah, I didn't know about the 'true damage' effect of health vamp. But I still don't think health vamp is better because it only activates the effect on the auto attack so it's not a huge difference. I'll try and do the test later with health vamp and reply to you with the time it took.

The drawback of LR's dps is that the class deals half damage on untargerted monsters. While the main dps is insane, the AOE dps really falls off. But I also understand that not having that feature on the class would turn it into an AOE VHL and that's a bit too unhealthy for the game lol

Who knows AE will buff LR again in future just like they buffed VHL because it's a hard farm. But LR still hard to replace in challenge boss fights, especially like boss like ultra engineer/ultra tyndarius.

I just used vamp lord at shadowrealmpast with health vamp and using the 5 Skill and I got a time of 1 min and 10 seconds. Then I tried at /revenant and I got 3 mins and 6 seconds. You survive easily even without Health Vamp when you use 5 while doing this, and it defineatly goes faster with 5, I think mana vamp might be a tiny bit faster than health vamp but the difference is very small if there even is any

so moral of the story is, the new enchants are everything, we all need to reset our expectations with the new respawn timers, and we have all clearly been sleeping on one certain class this entire time XD

I think that the rounds being 4 monsters gave a significant disadvantage to the classes that could only hit 3 at a time

That's a good point tbh. I think being able to hit more than 3 monsters at a time in a room is a pretty important part of a farming class tho.

@@RicochetAQW honestly differences between shogun/bright are very small when you look at the time it takes to complete the 50 LT quest. Arcane has a member only quest where you beat 4 dragon bosses twice and redeem it for 200 LT. I think that quest is faster if you have a good solo class (any calendar or vhl) plus a damage boosting weapon. But not 100% sure.

As a former chaos slayer main, I appreciate that the class is finally getting the recognition it deserves

Probably the most underrated class in the game, just cos of pandemonium, people thought it was to hard, but its litterly the best farming class in the game, has great support (not the best but still really great) it can solo bosses and its one of the most interesting classes they made.

i tried doing this test again with LR after the buff and these were the results :2m05sec in revenant and 54sec in shadowrealmpast (with spiral carve) with awe blast enchant 2m03sec in revenant and 55sec in shadowrealmpast , did this with a lvl 96 char 30% dmg boost weap and Polly roger(extra info since i don't think it increases dmg vs monster types) just got the class so i thought i'd rather give this a try Edit : i killed 30 mobs in revenant and not 20

I feel like a lot of people have decided to get Chaos Slayer after this video. Give it a second thought. Tbh, it is one of my favorite classes, I used it for a long time after it's release. Just beware of the fact that the 3 skill on CS can apply Courageous on the enemy. If you use 5 on an enemy with Courageous they become a raid boss (they get a damage boost of 500%) which can literally oneshot you while farming.

Use health vamp and be level 100. Try starting off with the 4 skill(shield icon). Beware of the 'courageous' effect on enemies because it can turn into 'paragon' which buffs enemy damage. 3 skill applies courageous and 5 skill applies paragon if courageous is active. The 4 skill is key for defence and heal.

Nice comparison easy to understand. Those classes are insane, i only got blaze binder. Bro can i still get those classes like for free or from quest except being bought by tons of ac's? I missed a lot ive been inactive for 7 years and i feel like playing again this time.

If y refer to calendar classes, nope. They gave hp in a period if u were online ghat period and u could buy a calendar class with 5hp. The only way to get hp is to buy shirts etc. from the ae site.

Mage is completely useless. Idk how it's even on that list with ssot and dragon of time.

chaos slayer to situtional because you need to build up stacks, after the new update this isnt considered anymore anyways though

there's a reason why LR is a great farming class. even tho it doesnt really kill that fast due to the other targets receiving less damage. it just a super easy class to use. just spam the skills not worrying about HP and MP is a huuge bonus. VHL is a great farmer ofc but you need to focus on farming cause you might accidentally kill yourself with shackle - unshackle. they should give justice to LR by giving it a small buff tbh.. its a hard farm and its probably an A to A+ tier class

Nah. They released Necrotic Chrono bec they know ppl would spend their HP in a heartbeat. LR is already a good all-rounder, I don't see why it should be buffed.

Hey, Using Spiral Carve on Legion Revenant would make it faster or just as fast as every other class in the 2nd test. Master of Moglins isn't better than Revenant, it's just a decent alternative. Saying it's better by almost a minute is Ludacris. That's the only bad test i saw, Good video!

It's probably best to note that Chaos Slayer is only really good when farming solo, as it's AoE auto is melee range. Not the best when there are multiple people farming in the same room.

Hey, ur using scarlet wrong dude, that's the fastest farming class against high hp , u should know how to stack ur skill 5 first. It can crit 10 and up if you use it properly

just farm in towerofdoom(last stage) to see who's stronger

Great comparison. Just one thing tho, awe enhancements completely changed the game for farming classes especially for fast skill users like LR or Vamp Lord with 5 skill and they drastically change the timings you got. You could have also included a section including awe enhancements.

I do notice you did use awe enhancements for some classes but would have been much better if you used awe enhancements for all the classes so it's fair because the damage you get from the extra awe enhancement is pretty significant.

Dont get your hopes up for Chaos slayer. Its by nature a very rng dependant class and so sometimes it has this insane performance and sometimes you have nothing. Although it is a good class its not as reliable as the rest.

It's performance at revenant was pretty unlucky as it didn't get many crits. So if you try again you'll probably get a much better time. What I've shown in the video isn't chaos slayer's best times, it's just random attempts.

Chaos Slayer is really good even without using it's 5th skill because it's autos will stack overtime so if you wanna farm LR Chaos Slayer with Health Vamp is amazing. If you use a boosted wep it's autos can crit for 6-7k.

In farming yes ncm is clearly a better class than lr, but ncm did not made it obsolete, you can use lr as a support class. Exaltia ultras is an example where almost every team composition prefers lr

@AQW || Aug11x LR defo ain't useless, it's literally needed for ultra bosses. Also, it's the 3rd best farming class in the game that supports and can solo better than other multi-target classes. You don't need to change classes/gear as it's literally all in one, saving a LOT of time.

Why there is no master ranger ? On mid mobs i use spiral and on high level health vamp it is clearly a farming class and yet you dont even get it in the vid.

NCM is a bankable class. It's a collector's class. It's a flex class. it's no way near to the utility LR and Chaos Slayer give your team farming high DMG mobs or bosses. As for regular mobs and weekly releases - doesn't matter what farming class you use, which is how the game is supposed to be.

LR is still really good for support and soloing too. Also, as for farming, it's really easy to use unlike nechrono. If you spam nechronomancer randomly, it's worse than spamming LR randomly.

Just spam your skills. Switch classes? Lol no, you never have to switch again. It’s just THAT good of a class. No other class has as much versatility as this class, and I don’t really think that’s changing soon.

Well when it came out it was the ideal class for farming/soloing for it's time and you wouldn't use any other class. Same thing with scarlet sorceress till they nerf it down by separating it into two tiers since every new players wants it and no other classes were getting farmed. CS is more of an acquired feeling since it's not a spammer. You just looping skill2 and skill3 and making sure you have enough chaos stack from auto atk (the cooldown on it is...pretty awkward) so your dmg is high and then go hit 5.

Now I will buy Ncm without second thoughts

yeah i tested it myself and chaos slayer got slightly better time lel. But the thing is, if you want braindead farming which only include spamming then LR is still the best, chaos slayer has slow cooldown and that one damn buff that gives mobs 500% damage which is basically suicide bomb. So yeah u gotta rly pay attention to the screen and be patient waiting for cooldown lel

If you use health vamp, paragon effect isn't that big of an issue especially with other people in the room. Also, Chaos slayer only requires you to click 2 skills so it's kinda more brain-dead than LR in a way.

@@RicochetAQW id say just use spiral carve and spam your ability’s I’m only level 85 and even if you die every 10 minutes its up there with master of moglins in a group and might be faster, compared to any other class i farm wiith this one for lr due to its speed, though i think you could include really low health enemies because classes like lr and vamp shine allot more.
