I'm Dominican, and I loved this! The best part about Jason is that he's all about family. His fame has not taken away his humility, he's right up there with Keanu Reeves in just being able to enjoy his life and his family and mix amongst in public. When someone hit you in your back, whats the reason?

Hawaiian born here, Hawaiian lineage, Hawaiian blood. I was raised in PA - boy did I feel the call home during haka, it awakens my soul 🤗🤗🤗

Hawaiian by blood but born and raised in Minnesota. Its a far cry from where my mom called home on the islands but she said here is frozen ohana. She carried the culture here and people through school thought it was weird; the food I ate, the way I talked, the clothes I wore, the traditions I followed. I thought all this Hollywood publicity would make things worse and make it look more weird but there is now a fascination and appreciation for the culture now. This makes me proud to hold it, seeing people like Jason and Dwayne doing the Haka proudly on camera and people not making fun of it but really admiring it as something not just badass but beautiful and terrifying at the same time is really cool. Whether you are still on the islands or across the ocean in far away lands we are all still ohana and we all take a piece of those islands with us.

After a rough day this just filled my spirit

He doesn't need an islander wife, he already has a wife and he loves her and she loves him. His father didn't find an islander wife and it didn't matter because he came along and he's beautiful just the way he is. Just because he's not 100% Hawaiian doesn't mean he forgot his roots. Look at him do the Haka wherever he goes, and it was his roots and the Haka that got him into Game of Thrones.
