Thank you for the review! I stumbled across this one and thought to buy the 30l version. It all started when I bought myself some water plants I thought where pretty, at the garden center. I wanted to make a little underwater Garden i a glass, and after 2 Weeks or so, I saw these teenie tiny, snails in it. Most people would likely just leave them there or toss the water out. Me: "Hey lets give those baby´s a whole Aquarium instead lol. And since I was always thinking about eventually getting some shrimps as well, I thought a small stylish tank like this would be really cool. I love miniature Terrariums and Aquariums with beautiful hard-scapes and planting in it. So yeah for a complete noob like me this seems like an efficient little Biotope for my needs. No worry´s I will read about the requirements of the plants and animals before I add them, and make sure everything in this Aquarium is save.

Recently i bought a similar 30L tank. How long and by which method did you prepare the nitrogen cycle before importing the shrimps?

Were you able to fit the cables through the lid okay? I'm thinking of getting this, but it's really hard to tell in the pictures how much "cable room" there is and I'm scared that the lid will look clumsy/ugly or that I have to macgyver some holes in it or something.

hello. whats your opinion on the led light now after using it for 1 month ? worth buying for a 25 liter aquarium?

Absolutely yes. By far the best light i have used to date. I have been using it for 3 months.

btw what is your opinion on adding co2 on planted aquariums with shrimps on ? yes or no ?:)

They will live, but they might not breed that great. For keeping it should be okay in low co2. I have plenty low co2 tanks. Just make sure you have a trustworthy co2 system

just started the tank, ill wait like 1 month untill i add the shrimps. was thinking about a jbl pro flora BIO 160 co2. he adds like 1 buble/2 or 3 seconds. should be ok ?

Hi , I am really new to keeping Shrimps. I bought 10 cherry shrimps one month ago. It's a 10 gallon tank. I have added a Indian Almond leaf and some coconut shells which I attached some moss. I keep 50 - 100 baby danios in the that tank inside a big plastic bottle which I drilled for just to move water .So they have access to large volume of water and they can't eat the shrimp let.I change 50% water change every week. I feed my shrimps Hikari Shrimp Cuisine,Hikari First Bitesand Vibra Bite. I have add a crushed egg shells to the tanks as a calcium source for the Shrimps two weeks ago. Recently I noticed 2 of my cherry Shrimps are having white ring of death. Most of shrimps have grown 2-4 mm since I bought them. They were like 1.5 cm at time I purchase them. Now most of the have grown to up 2cm.Is it because me doing too much water changes or the Hikari Vibra bite or First bites make them grow quickly. I don't have any thing to measure ph,GH or Kh.Please help. Show less
