Looks good. I've been thinking of ditching my heavy natural stone and getting some artificial rocks such as that and give my peacock and haps that more natural Malawi look.

Very interesting channel, new sub! Was looking into getting new coarse aragonite sand. What kind of sand do you have in Alcatraz?

Thank you for the compliment and for subbing! I use the aragonite sand from Petco. Not sure if it’s Caribsea…. It isn’t the kind with live bacteria

They never said. I just sent them a pic of a tank that had these. Just take a screen shot and send that to them.

Do coral sand is good for Africa cichlid fish pls do reply...

Crushed coral can increase the ph if yours is on the acidic side, so it can be good. Just keep in mind that they sift the sand, so don’t want anything too sharp in there. Aragonite sand does the same thing and it isn’t sharp. You can stick a bag of crushed coral in your filter too.

Ah yeah man, very cool. I have just decided to get rid of my white ocean rock and am replacing them with grey rocks with a white onyx marble through them. Had a load left over from my last tank, I'm a bit short on quantity but my LFS have a load more to collect tomorrow. The white ocean rock is nice when it is clean but is a massive algae magnet despite me using RO water, drives me insane. Always fish in, they don't mind ;o)

They never gave me a number. I was matching someone else’s rocks. They called them bottom rocks. If you ask them they should be able to tell you what David Nall ordered.

They’re not cheap. The Aquadecor website has the prices. Mine were about $650 for 15 of them.

@@katrose1701 I wound up using only four of them. I have some others in my growout tank, and more just sitting on a shelf in my closet 🤓. It’s good to have them though in case I have more tanks that need them 🤞.

Also how much were the rocks? I'm on their site and trying to figure out the currency converter.

Super expensive. I had about 15 and it was around $500-600. I do like them though, and they don’t take up the water volume and aren’t as dangerous to the fish as sharper-edged real rocks.
