AQUA, another good piece to demonstrate Kitaro's signature sound from the miniKORG 700S/FS.
Inspiration came from the recent live recording of Kitaro. One of the thoughts and observations is that, AQUA has been in played many times live by Kitaro since the 1980s. Possibly, it is one of the pieces Kitaro likes performing.
One of the feelings I have noticed is that, AQUA has alot of mysterious elements, in a way of the chord progression. It is also one of the Kitaro pieces that allows much more emotional expressiveness through the melodies.
The initial release from 'Oasis' album has a rather straight tone but over the years of re-covers by Kitaro, this song has evolved to become more expressive than the first initial release.
In this cover, I chose the 'Harp' sound and the Squar-ish sound from different variations of AQUA. Keeping some of the familiar melodies of AQUA with variation and improvisation. improvisation is something I try to always work on.
Today's playing had a few dexterity issues.

I doubt so. I have not come across any that has similar characteristics to the 800DV.
