Hi! Probably the best aqara guide video I had ever watch! I have a question: As both Tuya and aqara is not in the same eco system, can we use aqara dimmer/ sensors to activate Tuya smart light?

Hi, thanks for the video! Would the aqara switches be able to control a tri tone light bulb (no remote)? Like with traditional switches, turning the switch on/off repeatedly will change the light tone from warm white to cool white to daylight. If that can be done and I've chosen the tone that I like, how do I make it so that it doesn't keep changing the tone the next time I turn it on?

Hi thanks for the video it is very helpful. Do you have the m2 hub stock available? I am currently using m1s China version and would like to switch to m2 hub for Alexa automation. I am wondering switching to global hub will I lose all the automations and scenes I have created in Aqara app or it can be ported over to the new m2 hub? Thanks.

Hi thank you for the informative video. I have 2 questions here: 1.currently I had installed a 3gang H1 wall in the living room but 2 of the switches doesn’t seem to be functioning the same way as previous. Do you have an instruction to install a H1 3gang no neutral switches? 2.my 20A heater switch doesn’t bind with my M2 hub. I had reset many times, placed them nearer and installed an ethernet cable but failed. Is there any other solution to this? Thank you 🙏🏼

Super informative, thank you! I'm living in a hdb resale, would the Aqara switch fit the typical switch case/box since there are not in the wall? Ie those single/double switch casing.

Any reason why neutral is recommended? Is it for safety reasons? I’ve just gotten my a home but if there’s a way to save money then probably going without neutral wire would be a good choice unless there’s a good reason like safety etc. 😊

Hello! I have 2 Aqara G2H Cameras (International version) and a few Aqara China H1 switches. I have successfully added all the switches to the Aqara App HomeKit mode. All my 1 gang, 2 gang switches are working well but somehow, both my 3 gang switches have an odd issue. So I have Switch 1,2,3 on the H1 3-gang switch. The lights connected to Switch 2 and switch 3 cannot be turned on unless I have switch 1’s light on. If I have all 3 lights on, when I turn off switch 1, switch 2 and 3 both turns itself on. Any chance you have ever encountered this issue? :(

Hi thanks for this video, it really cleared plenty of doubts. I would like to check if the 3 gang switch available now? And can the switch still be pressed traditionally to activate the electrical components (ie. lights)?

Hi there, thank you for your kind words :) The 3 gang switch is still not available for the H1 series and yes the switches can be used traditionally. Hope this helps.

Does it mean I need to use the neutral variant for the switch powering my water heater? And do you have an estimate for pulling neutral wiring for a typical 4-room HDB?

Actually, the answer is NO. Heaters use 20 amps. these switches are not rated for such high wattage devices. It's suitable for lights and ceiling fan only.

for heater switch, does aqara have a solution for it, since the H1 switch is not able to use it

can Aqara switch be wire and set as 2 way switches?

HI...i am using the aqara m2 hub but i can only connect my living room aircon and not the bedroom, just wanted to know what is wrong as i couldn't find the pairing of the IR. Or it is the hub can only connect to one aircon IR? Thanks

It should be decent. But M2 hub will have better connectivity and processor in place. But nevertheless, E1 hub should be decent.

hi, great idea using the door sensor for the bomb shelter, had that in mind too! but does that mean i will need to install the smart switch in order to create that automation if my light is not a smart one?

You need wired switch +m2 hub + wireless switch to achieve that effect. Do make an appointment to visit us at our office to touch and feel the switches :)

Can the H1 switches work with M1 or M1S hub?

Hi it should be able to. But we recommend the M2 Hub as it is using the latest zigbee protocol and is much more stable.

Aqara does not have a suitable product at the moment for heaters. But you can contact us through out website as we have alternative products for that use case.
