The max size in my opinion should be 28". Anything bigger might result the plastic holder to start cracking. Glow ParaPop 28"- Amazon - amzn.to/3rmdMjg

I’m looking to get the 60d to start making films. After having it for so long how do you feel about the fan noise? I love amaran, but I I’m worried about fan noise being too audible in my films.

Depends on how close your mic is. Also in davinci, there is a voice isolation that works very well. It can remove back ground noise. If you are still worried, get the 100D. my entire channel is still running on 2 100D.

what soft box are you using with your 60D? is it possible to use 90cm softbox with it? thanks in advance

I am using Glow ParaPop 28"- Amazon - amzn.to/3rmdMjg . I would recommend no bigger than this.

Woah. 35 inch? You are pushing it. I would say no but you can prove me wrong. I was told there is a ton of plastic components and in the long run it may slowly crack.

@@erum.m It will fit no problem. Long term use, you will be the tester. In my opinion, not recommended but its your turn to prove me wrong and help the community here with your long term experience. Its a plastic mount.

Not a problem! I notice after the review, the portable factor is pretty good. Just dont film over 1 hour straight!

@@theCameraVille I really liked your white studio setup in this video. The white background has a bright spot halo behind where you sit as a result of the two 28inch soft boxes you use. I noticed you have a vertical led light direct behind you (between your back and the wall). What exactly is the purpose of that light? Is it lighting up the wall to give the bright Hall effect around you? Is it lighting the wall or your back? What brand light is that?

@@djc24 amzn.to/36joIal I have a method to my own madness. I'm still figuring things out. The back light is to keep the scene interesting/diffuse when I move left and right. The light basically is softening up my scene when it appears. I have a pro black mist filter on my lens so once light touches it, my set looks diffuse. I am erasing off all the sharp digital look and keeping the scene interesting.

Hi, I've heard other KZreadrs complain about how hard it is to fit the 60d back into the box. What are your experiences with both lights to get them back into their boxes?

It is a tight fit. The part that gets me is the noise. I shiver every time but it will fit and its portable.

you might be able use a razor and cut slightly bigger opening? Wont have as clean of a look though

@@asfilmspl 60D will do it no problem but I would go with the 100D for future proofing but 60D should be fine. With my 100D I am only using 30% brightness most of the time.

Oooohhhh very nice comparison 👌 I am searching for a small size compact light to be on the go run and gun. Do you thing this 60d can light a couple 5-7 meters away? I will using two lights

This may be your option when your running and gunning. I recently light a house about 15 meters away. Worked crazy good. Just make sure you check the system after 1 hour. Mines got very warm and its winter time now. Maybe summer might be different story.

@@theCameraVille warm....? 🤔 Oh man this is bad I am shooting in greece and of course summer. I shot weddings with 42 C that's 107 f. When this doesn't shout down I am OK. You lit a house 15 meters away!!! 😮😮😮🤯 I thought it hasn't such an out put. You could du a video. There aren't videos out there with real life examples... Every one shows lightning situation in a room, small space youtube studio (me included 😂) thanks for answering I appreciate it

60 D , I did that recently. It was fun with the battery pack. Im not a buff guy but it wasnt heavy either

The Amaran 60d seems a better size for travel. But are you really concerned about leaving it on for more than 1hr? That is concerning.

I ordered one for myself on aliexpress on December 26. My seller (New Photography store) does not ship the goods. And he says that he will send it now, and that you need to wait. I do not recommend using this seller

В районы откуда много заказов - получается отправлять часто. Где заказы пореже - копят подольше. Этим пользуются почти все крупные магазины, так что вряд ли ваш продавец уж настолько плохой только из-за того, что работает в тренде с рынком, конкурируя с такими же ушлыми :)

100D. However if you are running and gunning a lot, I usually take the 60D because its light and compact. I light an entire scene on a roof with just the 60D and it was very useful while a 100D would require a ton of attachments.

60X vs 100X would be more relevant for a lot of people
