I work in politics and I'm really excited to read Yes, No, Maybe So. Some of my favorite volunteers and even a few interns I've met have been high school kids. They're passionate, caring, and they really are ready to make the world a better place.

It’s a great book for gifting I think. Becky adds her humor which helps round out some of the heaviness. I hope you like it!

Don't feel too bad, in April I made reading wrap-ups for September, October, November, and December. VEDA really gave me a chance to catch up

I feel the same way about The Two Lives of Lydia Bird!! I was expecting something totally different.

Right? I don't usually get angry when I finish books, but I was MAD. I felt so lied to. lol I did think her relationship with her mother and sister were well done though. I also got a little twinge of butterflies when Kris entered the picture. Without spoiling anything, were there any parts you enjoyed despite the misleading book description?

Yeah. I was working overtime remotely so 4 books was kind of surprising really. Lol Hope you’re doing well!

Is the goose girl the same tale as the 12 wild swans? That is a tale deconstructed and used by Starhawk for witchy purposes--THAT is one I'd recommend when you can concentrate on inner journeying :) *

No. I would say Goose Girl is more like the Prince and the Pauper. I've never heard of Starhawk, thanks for introducing me. I'll be sure to explore the website further.

Too bad about the cat book! If you are open to reading a animal fiction based on true events (basically my author client wrote her own cat's memoir) let me know and I can get you a free copy in return for an honest review.

I don't know what got into her yesterday. She even had the dog scared. She's the smallest cat in the house, so that like never happens. lol
