I’m reading the bluest eye by Toni Morrison. I’ve reread this book like 3x. It helps me get back into reading. Next on my list is a little life by hanya yanagihara

Great video! The only book that I've read from your TBR is "Piranesi," which I really enjoyed. I've been wanting to read "1Q84" and "The Hearing Trumpet" for a while now. My question for you is, "What is the greatest piece of advice that you have received?" Hope you have a great month of reading! 😎📚👍

I'm glad you're enjoying Clarice. She writes very good stuff. Im on a break from Murakami after reading Kafka on the shore and not liking it very much...but his writing was cool, I have a copy of Nowergian wood and After dark which I want to read next. Excited to hear your next thoughts about 1q84

I've been hesitant to dive into Murakami's works after hearing a friend's critique about how he portrays women. It's disheartening to have books gathering dust on my shelf, waiting for the right moment. On another note, I have a couple of questions 1) What recommendations would you give to someone who's not a big reader or new to reading? 2) If money wasn't an issue, where would you want to live, and what would you want to do?

@SayantikaSarkar007 hello lovely questions i’ll make sure to answer them on my vid 💌 Also feeling hesitant with Murakami is absolutely valid but I always say try reading it and forming your own thoughts on him if it works it works if not then it’s okay haha

my april tbr consists of 1q84 (because of the book club 🤭), resurrection by tolstoy for uni and sula by toni morrison because that’s shawn mccomb’s book club pick for april :)) very book clubby and long-book focused tbr, but i’ll probably read other stuff as well in the end because of my poor self-discipline and mood reading habits 😂
