This is so true. Even if April doesn't want to keep working there and believes there could have been possibilities elsewhere, the work she did should be appreciated by herself and everyone else. Also in a weird way she did the right thing by flushing out the intern that didn't really want the job. She didn't even bother with the other two because those two would be completely satisfied working the rest of their lives in the parks department.

fair point, though I would say all of those mentioned ended up in a better place for the experience of working at the Parks and Rec, as Craig points out if not for her time there she'd likely be working as a clerk in a gas station. The worst part about April is actually working with an "APRIL" in the workplace. Someone who's constantly negative, sarcastic, lazy and above all else needs other to feel miserable because she isn't happy. The day she was let go you could literally feel relief in the entire workplace. Sad but true.

Why is that sad? This is a comedy, working with a person like that in real life would be a nightmare.

I don’t know why turning 40 gets all the reputation for being terrifying and making people feel like their life is over. 30 was WAY more panic inducing.
