Everyone expects a April fools prank on April 1st but no one sees it coming nearly 2 months later, well played sir

Dilly dilly, indeed
The real April Fools is that The DMCA hasn't been substantially changed since it was passed in the 90s, when the internet was still in the dial up era and content creating was largely nonexistent.
when the picture of the pottery scene from Ghost popped up, instantly thought the snob was gonna yell "That's a D-ck!!!" 😂
I must say, the April Fool's Day movie poster with the 'noose braid' was awesome. It was a staple in every video store I went to back in the day.

Quite true.
Another better late then never Cinema Snob episode.
The ending was like an April Fools prank on the Audience.
Brad is so prolific I just assumed he'd already done Slaughter High lol.

Where would we be without Lloyd’s out of context clip of the week
Saw this 4 times at the theater and was always impressed with every aspect of this highly underrated gem.
I recently watched this movie and was surprised at how much I liked it. The pacing and writing of 80’s slasher movies feel more entertaining than movies of today.
A lovely film. With a happy ending.. I adore it.
You can tell that Brad has been wanting to do this movie for years but his schedule never lined up to actually have it release on April Fools Day, so he just decided "fuck it" and put it out today.

The fact that there are a handful of comments from April makes me think that there was a copyright claim, like the Easter review a week or two ago.

@@IoEstasCedonta It was indeed a copyright issue.
I remember seeing this at blockbuster all the time, at least the cover always caught and drew my eyes
While the ending of the feature isnt gonna win to many points in my book, it does feel refreshing with a slasher doing something different. I will say with the ferry incident i was expecting a different reveal but good for you April Fools Day for tricking me.

the best part of this IS the ending cause we all got played.
One of the few ‘80s horror films my mom actually liked. Great this review finally got out of limbo
I remember the vhs box for this movie from my Blockbuster days. Totally rented it for just that reason.
Slaughter High was really overlooked and underrated. Has awesome gore.
After a two year delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we finally got our April Fool's Day review! Man, talk about a twist ending!

Just in time for Memorial Day!
This movie scared the s… out of me when I was a kid. This is your best one yet. Laughed. A lot. Thank you.
One of the best films to check out if you reeeeeeeaally want that 80s slasher look and feel. It's actually really good! ... And the Muffy acting at the end has a creepy uncanny valley quality to it that freaks me out to this day
I always remember seeing the box art for this movie as a kid never watched it beacuase I hated horror movies and I think the ending is great
AT LAST!
I have a little behind the scenes info about this movie if anyone is interested in it. The movie was shot on Vancouver Island and the ferry dock was located in the town of Brentwood Bay. I remember the day they shot those scenes on the dock because I was in the building behind the ferry dock and had been asked to stay inside so as not to mess up their shot. I worked at a place that rented fishing boats there. The better part of the story though involves my younger brother. He and his friends used to hang out at a little park by the ferry terminal and when the movie company came to town they told them to get lost. Offended by this, that evening they toilet-papered the dock and film crew came to film the next morning they lost half a day of shooting while cleaning it all up. I seem to remember the police got involved but thy never identified the culprits (although I think they probably knew who did it).
This movie gave me so much--the awesomeness that is Amy Steel, the fact that Kit is pretty much literally Ginny, a really clever premise, fun characters, BIFF, and totally the girl who mated with him:):) Deborah Foreman as Muffy St. John couldn't be MORE perfect for him! Plus, the director of 'When a Stranger Calls';) Amy managed to act with Biff here, Marty on 'Family Ties', and Doc in that movie with the guy who acted like a dog--it would've blown my MIND if she had been Jennifer...
I watched this for the first time when I was little and I was blow away by the ending. I loved it and didn't see it coming.
You know my late maternal grandfather (who was blind) was born on April Fool's Day (unsurprisingly he had a good sense of humor), making it a pretty easy birthday date to remember.

Cinema Snob is truly the best
Strange that this one got flagged, but I’m glad to see it finally got free. Great slasher film too. It’s weird that it has the same beginning as Jason Takes Manhattan.
1:03 Lol! That part made me laugh! Lol! 😆😆😆
Ah yes, May 26th, the perfect day for an April Fools related video. That being said, I like this movie, so thanks for reviewing this!

No better way to get ready for Memorial Day weekend!
This is a well-made and underappreciated gem, that should have did better at the box office. I like to rewatch it at least once a year.
Windy City reference. Awesome! 😁
“Who here hasn’t killed a bunch of people as an April Fool’s joke?” [shuffles feet while whistling innocently] 😙
"The only pizza place they can order from is the one with one star!" So Papa John's?
Loved this film because of the end. Made it memorable.
I saw this when I was younger and liked it. Thing I remember most was the song that played in the credits "Too bad you're crazy". Great song, but odd. XD
I feel like this is the first time I've actually seen the film he's talking about! P.S. why does Chett seen familar
ah, soccer ball full of bees. a true classic.
Glad to see this one up.
It's here!!!!
Deborah Goodrich was in Remote Control with Jennifer Tilly and Kevin Dillon. You might wanna look into that. It is pure gold.
I first thought Snob already reviewed Slaughter High, but I was thinking of Brandon Trenold's Cult Movie Reviews. 1:22 A slasher flick, where the would-be victim has a gun? Must be a short movie. 5:54 Did one of them just commit attempted murder, and they act like it's nothing? 9:46 H.H. Holmes? I understood that reference. 18:20 OH! Student Bodies! That's the one Brandon reviewed, not Slaughter High.
An April’s Fools Day Joke. 🤪 ~That is also the name of the Movie. ~Coming out in May! 🙃 ~For a Holiday Weekend which still makes it an official Holiday Review! ~~& it Premiers On May 26th, My Birthday!!! 😃 Thanks for this unintentional Birthday Gift Snob! 😉
Clever April Fools! Not releasing it in April. Classic
growing up, and being afraid of horror movies whenever i went to the video store to rent a game for the weekend i'd always go check out the fronts and backs of the horror flicks while my mom checked out. this cover / back always stuck with me. back in the mid 2000's when i was heavily into netflix i finally rented this, and i remember absolutely hating it when the end came about, and it was all a horror comedy. Funny thing is looking back on it i was a dumb teen who wanted it to be a straight up horror, but should have realized it would be the start of my love of horror comedy.
Especially Slaughter High.

Thank you I was waiting for this video since april the 1st
Like, oh my God, just watch "Valley Girl's" the other day,you know? I soooooooo miss the 80s😎
This actually made me check calendar.
This movie was master class trolling.
Releasing this one almost 2 months late. You want us to go all James Tolkan on you for being a SLACKER as another Top Gun tie-in. We're on to your devious tactics, Mr Snob.
seen the trailer for this and it give the whole film and plot away
I had to stop and check the calendar at the beginning of this.
I love this movie.
About Time!!!!
It's finally here and worth the wait! The movie is a wonderful mix of horror, comedy, and randomness.
Biff killed George Mcfly in the future, went back in time with the Delorean, and hid out in April Fool's Day universe
I know it's past April 1, but I hardly think CS was going to wait another eleven months to give us this review.
I could've sworn you'd already covered this film.
The April fools joke is thinking we'd get this on April fools day.
I loved that movie 🎬
April Fool's Day in end of May. Well Played, Life.....well played.
It's about time for the review, I appreciate this Snob, take care
Joke's on us
I saw April Fool's Day on MBC 2 when I was 18.
Love Killer Party
The kind of film that seems better when you're older. Like mature cheddar.
I FINALLY get to see this review after all that copyright fuckery.
Always liked this movie.
Ok, let's try this again.
I've been anticipating this video more than dune part 2

It's "six degrees of Jim Carrey Bacon"! Go'in a looooong way back, for THAT reference.
Well I thought it was May the 26th for a minute. I guess you fooled me!
Watched this movie a long time ago as a kid. I always wanted to know what this was and could never figure it out. Thank you Brad Jones. Bout to go out and buy this today!
This movie kinda reminded me of those images saying this is gonna be a good prank and theres an atom bomb on a door
Hey Snob, I heard Grizzly II got a full release not too long ago, you should do the review of the release if its true.
Didn’t know BB-8 was in Ghosts.
My mom and I share the same birthday and guess what day it is.
well, today's date is May 26, nice timing ;)
April Fools Day is mine and my mother's birthday.
I never realised that BB8 was in "Ghost"...
Considering Muffy got the "scary demon" jack-in-the-box at a childhood birthday party... was Conal Cochran a family friend?
God what morbid friends 😳
April Fools? More like April... um... OOOO FACED!
Really enjoyed this movie back then. And crushed on Deborah Foreman.
That mansion is near where I live. It was for sale not too long ago. It's called Dunmora estate.
Yes!!!!!!
An underrated film with fun likeable characters.
Oh my gosh that is Biff! I've seen this movie a couple times and caught that? Welp I wasn't paying attention...
HILARIOUS
Finally! haha
Sweet this video finally made it out of copyright purgatory. This is a great video and worth the wait. This movie is always underrated because it's very well written and great for other watches and try to find the Easter eggs that point to the ending.
April fools, indeed.
