The first proper rainfall approaching after the long dry season in Bloemfontein, South Africa. Situated in the summer-rainfall region, almost all rain usually arrives from dramatic afternoon/evening thunderstorms. Many of those thunderstorms are supercells and squall-lines. Today the first spring squall-line thunderstorms raced across the Free State & Kwazulu-Natal provinces, including Lesotho.
