That picture you shared on the community post looks really good for ADS. If possible, I’d love to see a video of them while driving in rain at some point. I think that’s the best way to see how they perform in a real world test

EC and Joey have seen some sneak peak videos of the performance. As you know, sliding angle means more for a windshield coating than water contact angle.

Really good point on the sliding angle. I’m using the Diamond Glass right now and it has a ridiculous contact angle and durability, BUT it sucks because the sliding angle is awful. The beads just stay put until high speeds.

Great video. All of them look good so far. CCI looks the most hydrophobic followed by ADS and then Black Rhino. Curious what ADS is going to do with version 2.

If possible when raining. Could you drive & film. Demonstrating hydrophobics & what speed the water completely flies off the windshield. My prediction: ADS

Thanks for doing this, Jamie. The pressure washer test makes the CCI look arguably the best, but the real-world experience with the morning mist/dew is, imo, a much better indicator for actual performance. ADS out here takin’ names yet again.

They all look great. ADS from the picture looked fantastic. Application and removal is part of the experience. The fact you can just leave CCI on for however long is a win win. ADS has a great line and very active in the community.

Hope you do a follow up video while driving at different speeds in the rain. This is a good way to show the performance of each glass coating. A glass coating with good sliding angle should create small beads that quickly roll up the windshield and onto the roof of the vehicle. I’ve heard ADS Glass Coating is very good.

I’ve got ADS Quartz Paint Coating and Glass Coating installed. The BEST coating I’ve ever used. Like you mentioned, the install isn’t the easiest (pretty grabby), but the results speak for themselves.

Great video bro! CCI idk if it’s the angle but beads up asap as the rhino and ADS floods/pooling when water hits on contact. Let’s see how it holds up up over time. First time I see you in a sweater and a beanie appreciate the content 💪💪

I’ve had great results with Angelwax H2GO & it also won the Glass Coating MegaTest in Pro Detailer Magazine Seventeen. R-Evolve-X, who makes the best wheel coating on Planet Earf, just released a glass coating which I have on the way now. I’m going to side-by-side it against H2GO to see if we have a new champ. Anxious to see how these 3 do on your testing! Thx !

Nice. I have ADS and BC 5 glass coatings. Too cold to install in MD. Next 50 degree day and good weather will be sure to coat my windows and windshield.

Really great video through explanations of the installation and performance. I'd say after a week they're all close in performance, with CCI having an ever so slight lead.

Can’t wait to watch the real tests on all these! I like the easy application and look of the CCI but like to see drive test. The ADS one had no water on it in that clip. Very interesting! Ty for testing this stuff for us!

Definitely like splitting hairs as far as Performance by the looks of it one thing I have noticed with CCI is when you do use the wipers it’s very very clear and not streaky

Jamie, Would love to see you try the new C6 Glass coating. I'm hearing amazing things. Was about to try Beadlocks glass coating but tempted to try the C6. It's not cheap though. We're going from $53 to $125. Big price difference

The best windshield treatment that I've tried is Gyeon View. Amazing water repellency and relatively simple application.

I still use good ol’ Aquapel, have for many years, and it has never let me down. I put on a new coat every April and starts losing the hydrophobic behavior around the next February (and I live up in the mountains with gross, salty snowy roads for 2-3 months every winter ). Now that I see the cost of these ceramic products, I won’t be switching anytime soon either. The Aquapel is $10-15 per car/per year depending on how many you buy at once.

I really want to try the CCI cause I saw a video stating it “soaks in” for a stronger bond. Will you be putting out a video in the future featuring CCI Advanced? I want to pull the trigger but there are zero videos out there from what I see

Did you use a glass pad or polishing pad to prep? Also what applicator are you using in this video? Is it your go-to?

How are they compared to Ultra Glaco?

Armour detail seems to completely repelling the water with less sheeting .nice .

I'm gonna vote ADS! All of them look solid, though. How would you say your experience thus far compares to the previous glass coating set?

Clear winner to me. CCI. Easier to use, only one layer, haze gives you a clear cut time it’s ready to wipe off no guessing, beading water much better than the others under a steady pressure washer stream. Only variable not mentioned was the price of each which would most definitely affect the final choice…saying that CCI is way way more expensive than the other two. I think Rain Dance is the cheapest at $29.99 Conversely Ethos has an EZ Glass for only $36.99

@@JamieTheCleaner outstanding! I’ve been using Brian’s BC5 from Apex. Been on my own cars glass for 9 months now and hasn’t weakened at all. I do plan on buying Ethos EZ Glass soon. It only claims 1 year durability but in all honesty 1 year is plenty for a glass coating because we are usually ready to switch brands and try something new by then anyway😂…always a subscriber to the $30 coating channel!

Any issues with wiper judder using these products ? Want to do but experience in past with juddering.

What is your take on Ceramic Coatings like this specifically for Glass vs DIY Detail Ceramic Coating for the Car/Glass? Is a dedicated Glass Coating better than using a Car Coating on Glass?

This is a great idea for a future test, but yes I’ve had glass coatings last for years and I’ve never seen a paint ceramic last over 12 months on the glass but I also haven’t test diy on the glass 👍🧼
