Removing a patch will always leave a mark. I would only remove it if you plan on covering it with another patch! But to remove the patch it’s pretty much the same step. Apply a lot of heat on the patch until it starts to peel off easily! Thanks for watching!

@@nutmegcityfc thanks for the reply. I soaked the area with a nail polish remover, and I guess the chemical content worked. I managed to remove the patch with minimal mark.

hey, dont you have the problem that the patch is getting loose after you wash the shirt? I put on a Premier League Patch and it was peeling of after I washed it the same way I wash my other shirts with patches on.

I haven’t had that problem! Probably just need to reapply heat with the iron! I had that happen with a regular patch on a regular pair of shorts but I used a steamer instead of an iron to apply that patch. Once I used the iron then it was good
Hey brother i was applying a ucl ball on my jersey but i realised very late that i stuck it tilted slightly so is there any way to readjust it to it's natural position?

You can remove it and try to add it on again but it won’t stick as good anymore. It might come off after one or two washes. I would leave it as is but if it bothers you then I would recommend getting a new patch to replace the one you are removing

I just had it on the highest setting! So it was pretty hot. I have other videos putting patches on different shirts. You can always check those out too for more guidance!
Hello, so I have a Real Madrid jersey and the club logo is peeling off from the washer, do u know any way that I could like sort of stick it and prevent it from being peeled?

You can try to use an iron to using these same methods and see if that works! If not maybe you can try like a fabric glue? But I haven’t tested that method so I don’t know if that will work
Question, I have a champions league patch that keeps peeling off. It’s new too. How long do you leave the heat on.

I would say about 20-25 seconds. Are you using a towel on top when applying? You can also use baking sheet over since it’s thinner. Because the towel is thick, sometimes it can absorb most of the heat.

Just do a very similar thing. Put the shirt on an ironing board. Put baking paper and iron the patch back down.
I recently bought a France 2021/2022 away jersey and the patches on the sleeve were way off from being center on the sleeve so I’m looking to remove them and fix it is this the same process ?? Great video btw

Yeah to remove them it’s pretty much the same process except you have to peel it off while it’s still very hot so be careful not to burn yourself and also you’ll need new patches because once you peel off the current patch, it’s done for.

It should stay on no matter how many times you wash it if applied correctly. I have applied a random patch on a random pair of shorts with just a steamer and it would come off after one or two washes but when using the same patch on the same pair of shorts using a home iron, pressing down and making sure the heat really is in there, it stays on no matter how many times I wash it.

Probably not. But I would try to get my hands on fabric glue first, since that probably washed off. And here is smt for the future: do not wash footballkits over 30°C

That’s correct! All these patches have glue on the back that sticks to shirt once heat is applied. It’s important to really make sure you apply a lot of heat so that the glue really sticks to the shirt. Never apply the iron directly on the patch/shirt. Make sure you put a towel on top! What temperature do you recommend using? And should the towel need to be wet or not?

I had mine on the highest setting and no the towel does not need to be wet. You can also use a baking sheet instead of a towel.

No glue. These patches already have adhesive in the back.

Thank you so much!! I would do it for about 20 seconds, then check the edges and make sure it’s really in there. If it’s not fully in there, then do another 20 seconds

Boiling water on the patch, with some soap, will probably work. Might leave some glue residue behind though.

It should! But I am pretty sure everything is stitched on a hockey jersey, at least the name and numbers are. But a patch in general will stick to a hockey jersey.
Hey i have a doubt...i have psg jersey on which ucl logo has half come off like there is no glue on half of the patch so even tho iron twice or thrice it stuck and then came off in a while could recommend me what can i do to permanently stick it again?

I honestly don’t know! I’ve wonder that myself because I too have older jerseys that are starting to peel off. Maybe fabric glue? I might try that on mine!

Yes fabric glue works for that just try not to get it on the patch/badge because then it’ll start to lose its color

Like about 15-20 seconds. If you use a towel like I did here then 20 seconds. If you use a baking sheet or T-shirt over the patch then about 10-15 seconds
