The others in my collection I plan on selling eventually but not with intention of “flipping to make a profit” but rather just so I can get enough funds to buy other shirts! And yes depending on what patches/name sets you add it could devalue, some may increase in value but most of the ones I add name sets to are ones I plan on keeping.

Also, could it not be the case that the “fakes” are ones that didn’t pass the quality control? You see it with other clothes where a slightly incorrect stitch and it’s sold cheaper?

The fact you have to go into such detail to spot the difference is testament to how good the fakes are getting. I’d love to know how they get it so close, growing up in the 90’s fake shirts on holiday were soooo fake, wouldn’t be the same badge, names spelt incorrectly.

@@argmax11 thank you!!! For more recent name sets and patches Subside Sports is a good place! Classic Football Shirts is good for patches from all eras. For older name sets I usually get reproduction ones on eBay! Hope that helps!

They are all made from Asia. The so called fakes are direct from factories. Whereas 'real' is sold via intermediary. Brands have alot of costs to pay, i.e. custom, shipping, tax, marketing etc

Sometimes there is mainly the size may not be 100% accurate but close enough. Also sometimes colors aren’t always exact as the real ones BUT I will add the old name sets do expire so for older shirts it’s better to get a new reproduction one

Any advice on where to buy the patches, In the future I will be looking for the 24/25 Nations League patches for the upcoming tournament to put on my 2 24/25 Norway jerseys but I’m afraid I will get not the right ones or fake ones. Any advice would be great! Btw just subbed

Thank you for the sub!!! For these patches and name sets I got them on eBay and I’m pretty sure they aren’t legit which I learned that name sets eventually expire so reproduction is the best option for older shirts. As far as legit patches, try Classic Football Shirts or SubsideSports!
