Applying Complexity Science for Organization Development
Why do some organizational systems work and some don't? Why do many organization change programs fail? Are organizations really fixed on being a clockwork?
Eli Sopow, PhD, uses Complexity Science, an approach to looking at organizations as complex adaptive systems (CAS) as a means for organizations to grow and survive in changing environments.

Thank you. That, in less than 20 minutes, gave me greater insight than the assigned reading. Great stuff! And, I can use this in my consulting work.
It is not at all easy to explain these ideas so clearly. So thank you for this clear and passionate video.
Thank you so much for this. I was struggling to understand my masters leadership course but this video really helped me finally "get it." I appreciate the time you put into this material. Again, thank you so much. I feel so much better.
Excellent presentation! Thank you for this!
Great insights...always enjoy relating science to real work life. Thks!

Great presentation, very informative!
This was extremely interesting, informative and very well explained! What took me months to vividly understand what my lecturer was speaking about I learnt it in less than 20 mins. Thank you so much!

Super! Thanks for dropping by. I'll make popcorn next time :-)
Fascinating and well presented.
Ta Da! Enjoyed it especially when he got to the organizational chart section.
Great video. Love Eli's character and the fact that it wasn't particularly polished (e.g. crossed out mis-spelling of traditional) which made it even more enjoyable and informative.

Good to hear from you. Love to hear more after you chew it over
Excellent, thank you for the introduction. I especially appreciate how you connect this to organizations. Follow up question from eight years ago now... Is there deeper material that you would suggest that would help fill in the applied details?

Shadow systems
The problem with self-organisation is that it requires less politics in firms
Applying complexity to organisation.. Capitalise on relativity theory language and self organisation theory language....that will simply the scientific recipe of what you are doing
Silos of Excellence - please consider rephrasing this word. You can never achieve excellence in silos, especially when you view organizations inside-out as highly interconnected and 'organic'.
