One thing I can really reccomend for you guys trying this is to get the felt 'player type' numbers and letters rather than the PU type you get with the shop printing. They look better, last longer and they can take loads of heat and pressure without the danger of overdoing it. Plus they are not really any more expensive than the PU type

Hi there mate, it all really depends. I’ve looked EVERYWHERE online trying to get dimensions for namesets in general but obviously every shirt for any league is obviously slightly different. I usually just work to a template/picture online that I find then just replicate it as close as I can do, I know that’s not much help but that’s generally how I go about it mate 👍🏻

I need to iron on some number name set's on a couple of shirts but im scared to ruin lol. I will follow your video but still nervous messing it up. I don't have a temperature gauge on my iron and a lot of info says temperature should be 140-150.

Don’t worry mate I’m still scared even now thinking I may ruin a shirt! But I say for any nameset application take as much time AS YOU NEED! No point rushing it so that’s the best advice I can give mate 👍🏻

@@whatewensdoin5070 Cheers :) i might try removing a name number off a old shirt. Using soapy water seems very hard work. You reckon using a iron to remove add heat then peel off in easier way.

I’d try the hot water and soap method first if I’m honest mate, it seems like a lot of work granted and it is haha but just to risk not damaging the shirt id try that first then have the other method as a very VERY last resort, the good thing is that if you’re just replacing the nameset with an exact nameset in terms of letters and numbers then least you have that if god forbid something goes wrong but I’m sure it won’t mate

Usually from eBay but another site I do use is called ‘football authentica’ has a really good range of products from name sets, patches and sponsors, Hope this helps 👍🏻
