It might be that there are a lot of people applying on italki. Because I applied there and got rejected twice and now which is the third time they said it’s because there is a large volume of applicants and that I’ve been placed on their waiting list. Just give it a bit of time then apply again✨.

Hi sister can you plz help me here .I'm trying to register on preply as tutor but I got stuck on filling my contry I'm staying in south Africa
I got accepted at Preply last year and not a single booking since, the most I've made on Italki is $149 and i started in October. Its rough guys

It is not easy. Both spaces are very much saturated.

Did mine at Wits but that's very expensive. You can get a TEFL certificate for 500 rand on daddy's deals. Hope this helps

Preply is the same. You have to be very strategic on how you attract student to book lessons with you
