I’ll probably stick with my Series 7 for another year as I am on a tight budget.I still easily get a full day’s battery life from it,sometimes two.

Watch X looks just like series 6, 7,8 and 9.

Apple will sell an Apple Watch band adapter so we can use our many bands on the new watch. 😂😂

I am with you -sticking with my watch 7. It was a big improvement from my watch 1 -waiting for a similar improvement.

If they manage to pull off the blood glucose monitoring thing, watch the stock value skyrocket to the moon.

I wouldn't worry too much about your old bands. If they do switch to this new magnetic system, I'll bet that either Apple or a Third Party will make some sort of connector to adapt your old bands to the new system. Not exactly ideal, but technology needs to progress at a certain point. It's been 10 years with the current connector, they can't keep it around forever.

Double tap is present on Apple Watch Series 7 under accessibility. I have a series 7 and I've been using it for the past year.

Brian I’m still rocking the series 7 myself. Not upgrading till there’s a reasonable upgrade in hardware but I will be upgrading to the Apple Watch X

maybe it can have a new band attachment but sell an adapter so u can still use ur old bands?

Will it have a titanium version? I am allergic to apple aluminum.

I made the switch to the Ultra 2 last week due to losing my series 9 while surfing.

Happy Series 7 owner here and none of the recent watch gens and rumoured watch X have made me want to upgrade. The Apple Watch has become like the iPhone, there isn’t much more to innovate… the only thing that will force me to upgrade my 14 Pro and S7 watch is when apple starts holding them back with software!

I am hoping the 10 is this big redesign.. My S7 battery health is at 78%. It's recommended me to get it serviced. Not sure if I can stretch my S7 another year.

I do not ever want to have a camera on my watch. Nope. If it comes with one I will not buy it.

I don't see how they could build in a high quality camera.Too big. But if they go with electrical contacts in the bands, then a specialized band with a camera built in becomes possible. Wear it when you need it; wear a regular band at other times.

I’ve still got my 7 but the battery dies quickly so it looks like I’ll be upgrading

3:34 i reckon this is important though because then you can’t really notice a new watch and then it then pushes them to make new and better watch bands im excited for this watch 😊

Blood glucose would be amazing even it had a little slit and Apple made it so you could insert your test trips into it would be awesome

If the physical redesign is this year, expect the biggest new features to come in the model after this. Apple knows how to double it’s sales potential.

I really hope that Apple keeps the blood oxygen monitoring feature. It is incredibly helpful feature especially when monitoring potential illness, or to monitor water intake in high elevation feature. More than blood pressure monitoring, I'd like to see body temperature monitoring added to future Apple Watches.

Still using a Series 5 white ceramic. What I’d like to see is another ceramic version.

Thinner good, as long as it doesn't compromise battery life., bigger (taller &wider) cases bad. If Apple can increase screen sizes a little bit by reducing bezel thickness rather than increasing case size then I'm all for that but please don't make the cases bigger especially on the smallest size. I have small wrists and big watches just look silly on me. Most wanted new feature? I'd like Apple to bring the Ultra's action button to the other Apple watches - not sticking out like on the Ultra though but flush with the case like the current button below the crown on the non-Ultra watches. Then in the longer term definitely more health sensors - blood oxygen (that is actually accurate), blood pressure and blood glucose - but as mentioned I guess we need to wait a while for technology to get to the stage where those are a practical reality.

I will upgrade if it’s as much of an upgrade as the iPhone X was.

@@RHeidenreich572 yes! 3D was my absolute favourite! The cost of it plus how only a small amount of people used it meant that it was scrapped, unfortunately. I am (mostly) satisfied with how they have almost mirrored the experience by improving the haptics though.

I upgraded to a series 6 the day my series 1 Apple Watch fell apart of my arm. Plan to wear this one until it falls apart off my wrist. I’d wear the Ultra 2 but $800 for me is a huge deal breaker. Timex, or just using my phone to tell time is looking better every year.

Smart electrical magnetic bands would be the best

People need to stop expecting bands etc to be compatible forever. Things change and we need to be ready for it, especially financially.

I got excited when you said a NEW apple watch render then showed the CAD view of what looks like my watch 6 but bigger whomp, whomp! I just need a new watch, my battery is trash now so I guess I'll pretend this is NEW and EXCITING!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I only purchased an Apple Watch because of the health and fitness tracking. If they do not solve the issue with Massimo, I will not purchase another. I am a huge fan of the Apple Watch. Two months ago I had a reaction to some cold decongestant and the Apple Watch alerted me to an irregular heart beat and I immediately went to the ER. Apple Watch saved my life!

Same here on the blood-ox sensor. I hope Apple understands that they will lose customers like us if they don't straighten this out.

I won't buy it until it has continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), but I have th4e following recommendation for the watch bands. If Apple is going to change the watch band connection, there needs to be a user benefit for the watch bands. The Apple Watch needs to have electronic connection to the watch band. This would enable Apple to sell a real blood pressure watch band (with inflation membrane)., or a watch band with additional sensors for the bottom of wrist blood glucose vessels, or a watch band that has additional screens or lights. The watch band color could even change with your color desire, or your health or activity stats, or your mood (like a mood ring).

All assuming the data is accurate and informative. I've seen skepticism from medical professionals about how reliable some of the sensors are, or at least how useful the metrics and alerts are to an average person.

I expect Know Labs in Seattle to get FDA approval for blood glucose monitoring long before Apple does.

This recent leak looks like it won’t be changing the bands, fingers crossed cause I have a huge collection lol

The only feature that would make me remotely consider another Apple Watch is the blood glucose feature. I also want the watch to stop being tethered to an iPhone, or at least be able to synch from a mac.

I'm still rocking a series 4. If the x is boring ill go for the first ultra.

FaceTime on Apple Watch would be awesome.

Yes, But more so for AI, would be great to be able to hold the watch over a menu, or foreign language and have it translate, quick snap of a business card or any text you want to save. Also for identifying plants, bugs, really anything. Much easier than getting out your phone, just a simple camera, and "maybe" the larger size here is just preparing us for larger casing to house a camera next year. "Hopefully" and no I don't want to wear glasses with a camera, so camera in the watch is a must at some point.

I just wish they keep the product red version, if they don't I'll be really pissed I skipped the series 9

Apple Watch Ultra already made my non Apple Watch Ultra bands useless. So, I'm okay with magnetic if I t makes the battery life better etc.

I want to see them develop eye tracking across all devices.

after all these years waiting you would expect a great bloodpresure sensor. not a half one. Really hoping it will get in there. and also blood glucose. that would be a reason to upgrade from my Apple Watch 7.

Hey Brian! I would like to see you throw bad apples 🍎. It’s been a long time and a New band design is absolutely overdue boss.

I wanna see longer battery life.

I'd hate to lose the ability to use my bands, and I have so many first party bands, most of which were $100 or above. However, if there is some awesome new design or compelling reason for the new band system (i.e. the ability to transfer power and/or data, or even add sensors in the band), I would be okay with the change. We've been able to use our bands for so long, and in fairness to Apple, in the face of all this inflation, it has actually decreased the prices of some of its non-sport bands (from $150 to $100). I would honestly be very surprised if there is a change to the band connection system without a compelling reason. If Apple wanted to screw us on band compatibility, it could have chosen to do so multiple times in the past as it has increased the screen size of the watch over time.

I wish the Apple Watch tell me my temperature. I know it does some temperature average during sleep, I want to be able to check it if not feeling well.

Sapphire crystal whould be nice.

At the dawn of the Apple Watch. The watch band prices are so expensive and I’m so picky on what I want. I just rock the shipped band 😂

I'm still wearing the original sport band on my Watch 6. I didn't expect to like it, but it's great. I didn't think it would last, but it's like new. I almost bought another for backup when there was a sale but figured "why bother, this will last several more years."

My Watch 6 battery just slipped into the "Service Recommended" zone with 78% battery left. It's still chugging along and I expect to make it until the 10 is released. But if the 10 doesn't have the blood-ox sensor working, I'll replace the battery instead of upgrading.

Imo the ultra 2 will remain king

Thanks for raising the Blood-Ox sensor problem. I have a Watch 6 on it's last battery dregs. I'm planning to upgrade ... BUT ... If the Watch 10 lacks the Blood-Ox feature, I'll replace the battery instead of upgrading. Or maybe I'll try Samsung. Come on Apple, fix this.

I need a watch that will fit comfortably on my small wrist. This watch will be too big. So, it looks like I will be upgrading my Series 4 to the 41 mm Series 9.

Oversized watches are sort of a fashion statement for some. A shame you have to give up the blood-ox sensor by going with the series 9. I don't understand why Apple hasn't been able to fix that problem. Too cheap?

Thin. Yeah my iPhone still gets hot outdoors and dims the screen and it’s super annoying

If the CADs are genuine then obviously the X isn’t getting thinner and isn’t getting new bands.

Longer battery life

I’m so glad I didn’t by the Ultra2. Blood oxygen is something I rely on, cause I work with the raw public, and their diseases, coughs and sneezing. Not buying another AW, till this feature returns.

Apple Watch health monitoring has always been a mixed bag. You can break yourself doing aggressive work and it won't auto-register. The ECG is regarded as barely useful by doctors because you need multiple cross-sectional monitoring to determine heart health. It's always marketed as amazing, but in reality, its just ok. What's more amazing is the poor take-up of app development. Years on and there feels like there's less apps. I'm assuming that its hard to work with and keep the power low. It's a shame, as when it was first launched I imagined an iPhone level of dev support.

It’s not true about the ECG. It’s very accurate. Talking as someone who was in the hospital several years ago as my watch told be to get help. It’s just a one sensor ECG, which is why it’s not a medical device. But people don’t just understand its function. It’s not for medical diagnosis. It’s to let you know if you need to see the doctor for a more detailed test with a 7 or 14 lead instrument. But the readings from my watch match the top sensor in the doctors machine, and that all it’s supposed to do.

The ultra has big bezels so they could easily make that screen larger too

You already know thats in the design pipeline… its inevitable. Apple are going back to thinner designs which in turn means bigger screens. Expect this to run for the next 10 years then it’s back to big and chunky hardware.

how much bigger of a screen are you going to be wearing on your wrist... i have a ultra 2.. at some point it becomes to big and its not practical, you might as well just pull out your phone...

I think they will do an Apple Watch Pro, the Pro might have the new design and new connecter and watch bands. That way they don't completely upset old watch band users, they can just buy the Apple Watch. So the Pro version with new bands could entice users to upgrade, but if they want they can just buy the regular Apple Watch. It's an easy way to not upset the Apple cart. So we could have Apple Watch Legacy, Pro, and Ultra.

the fact that the apple watch still cannot add a walk automatically to your workouts is pretty lame. I grew tired of starting and stopping the walk workout a couple times a day so I stopped.

When have I ever bought a watch to show off? I owned an original, then a Series3 because original was so slow. The a Series 4 due to a new design and then a Series 7 due to a new design. I'm a normal user.

Keep the same Bands!!!!!!! This video is just wild guessing with little to no facts.

Strong magnets are not so strong in that size I think. I am skeptical about a change to snap off bands. But they could make it slide to the side without the button.

Bands wouldn’t be useless. They would still be useable with millions of Apple Watches out there.
