Why did you emphasize the weight difference and not throw them on a $10 gram scale for us?

I got the aluminum iWatch 7...45...over time,sweat has caused it to be eroded, it is concealed by the case protecting the screen....if i had the steel , perhaps it would be less corroded...

My first Watch was the aluminum S7. Loved it but hated the battery. Saw the trade in value is the same no matter the case. Got the AWU. Been great

Good review! I am surprised that you spend so little time with the sapphire crystal, I think it is the major difference They are impossible to scratch (like really impossible) while the standard is still hard to brake but it is really easy to scratch

Well… I am surprised you didnt get into it. The Saphire glass is BEHIND an anti reflective foil. In theory the watch has the H9 glass BUT it will still scratch pretty easy because apple puts their foil onto it. So it’s just marketing. In the end, both scratch. They literally have the same glass on it, as a smartphone.

I can confirm that iOS 16.3 beta is much smoother than 16.2 on my iPhone 10. Thank goodness! Was ready to trade it in or sell it back on OfferUp. Still testing battery life.

1:00 you kinda miss this part. For the stainless steel Apple watch, does have GPS + Cellular built in. However, with the aluminum Apple watch, you have 2 options and you can upgrade to Cellular if you want

And on the stainless steel you also get saphire glass. The aluminum doesn’t have that.

I am so fed up with Apples pricing, howcome even the Apple Watch 9 Alu version is more expensive than Samsung new Galaxy Watch 6 and they even have Sapphire glass even on the cheapest models. And no people is asking questions, they just hand in the money. 🙄

I’m not sure about this but i found someone said stainlesssteel has better glass it sapphire and cheaper one easy to scratch dont know they still call them i-onx or not. So we can wear stainless without screen protector.

100% sapphire crystal is more clear and scratch resistant. The Steelcase is expensive for a reason.

I’ve had a stainless steel for 4yrs I think and it doesn’t have a single scratch and still looks brand new, literally. The sapphire infused glass makes a huge difference.

Not someone said, it literally states that on Apple’s website in the comparison section. The aluminium watch has hardened glass, steel is sapphire crystal.

Or, just wait until they go on sale. I just got a graphite stainless 45mm for $329 brand new directly from Walmart. No brainer at that price as that’s cheaper than the aluminum equivalent was.
