I just got the series 8 from the series SE first Gen big time upgrade was cheaper then the 9 but similar features just the right amount I need for features

I bought the Series 8 in January as well. It is also my very first Apple Watch. I chose it also because it had the always on display. It is really annoying with the SE if you always have to tap it to see the time or notification. Also I'm very satisfied with this watch. Sure the battery is not very good if you have to charge it every day. But it changed my life in terms of health so it's a well worth purchase for me.

How did it change, if I may ask? I have ordered mine, I wasn’t sure if it’s really going to help but ordered anyway because I have recently begun my fitness journey and have been sharing fitness data with friends. Closing 3 rings is what drove me to buy this watch.

Just bought a Stainless Graphite S8. Had the Ultra; hated it. But never in a million years could anyone hate this Goddess of KZread Marina Monteiro.

Great video! I have the SE 1st Generation right now. I decided to get the series 8 on Amazon. Can’t wait to see the difference. The battery on my SE isn’t that bad. This video was helpful!

How’re you liking the Series 8 compared to the SE first gen? I had the same SE and it just died and was curious about your thoughts!

You cannot track sleep with a smart device. I’ve had a sleep study done to confirm a diagnosis of non-24 hour sleep wake disorder. In order to truly measure sleep, you have to monitor brain activity, as well as heart rate and muscle movements with electrodes.

I wear a mi band 24/7 because it doesn’t emit radiation… but I love my AW…. ( 7:29 just add a case… and a screen protector… my watch is 360° protected for like 30$ instead of adding 3-400$ for the stainless…)

I bought the first SE back in 2021 and was really happy with it. Especially being able to pay with it. The weather check and the phone features were nice. However its battery was down to 84% and had to charge it up every night. The other, when there was a sale, I bought the 45 mm Series 8. The battery life is a big step up of course. The slightly bigger screen with slimmer bezels is nice too. Not a huge difference, 44 mm vs 45. I have thin arms, so the Ultra would look ridiculous on my wrist. Hehehe. Overall very happy.

Do you think it’s worth it to get Series 9 given that there’s barely any change from Series 8?

Nope. I had the 8 and it died on me when swimming. Decided to get the 9 and I should have saved myself half the cost and just gotten the 8.

You have this mom vibe going on, I do not know you and this is the first video I’ve ever watched by you, but for some reason I trust you. I just placed an order for it, gonna be my first Apple Watch.

For the wrist temperature to work you have to enable sleep focus in settings

I have noticed that about apple watches. People always think I’m in a rush when really I’m just wondering why my watch is buzzing back to back

you also get ECG and blood oxygen with the newer Apple Watches not only crash detection . I thought about the ultra but I think it's over kill. I have the exact same watch you described. I bought a cover on amazon works great. i have noticed recently my battery life draining faster than usual but it might have to do with the beta I have on this watch for iOS 10.

You should get an otterbox case.

I really like my Apple 8, so much so I have a second one , one for day other night. Battery life is no issue. A lawsuit as of Jan 2024 the oxygen sensors on Series 9 and Ultra 2 has been disconnected. Lawsuit ends 2028. Keeping my Series 8 really love it. I agree, Ultra is too big and bulky.

So excited to get mine soon!

Hi. Your video really helped me (UK here). I was looking at the 8, but didnt' realise the 7 and 8... is just the Temp and something else you said, that is nothing to me. the screen is the same. Also I didn't realise only the Stainless has the better screen. Wow. So looking at a new, or conditioned Series 7. And some good offers around. Would you recommend the Milanese Loop. or the Leather Link? I read the Leather looks good, but has 'security' issues as can be whipped off so easiily. Thank you. Very easy to watch video, not all funky like some can be, and made it more difficult to enjoy.
