I was planning to buy the s7 45mm but then my dad surprise me with s8 45mm as a gift. I mean I’m not complaining it’s just than an s7 45mm with upgraded band like leather link maybe is better than s8 with plain sport loop.

@@lll8112😂that’s such as a nice dad you have, btw the only differences is that the s8 has temperature sensing, crash detection and emergency 🆘 without internet by using satellite, so if your stuck in island or a place without internet you can use the new sos to call 📱

got the series 7, 41mm in green. I love the green color :) in most situations It looks like black but sometimes a really nice dark green.

It does look like a nice green! Green isn't my color but I don't hate the green on the Apple Watch for sure!
It’s a great watch. Was my 1st Watch. I upgraded to the AWU but my wife still loves her S7. Son has the SE

I bought the renewed Apple Watch Series 7 listed as excellent and a series 8 listed as pristine. The excellent had 81%battery health , the crown had no finish left , deep scratches all around the watch and face. The pristine was 100% battery health and looked brand new with zero issues. Both were cellular midnight blue. ( I sent the “excellent “ one back .
I'm 12 and am currently saving for one of these!

Yo, i was going to buy new Series 8 GPS 41mm but asked in local apple reseller for series 7 specifically, dude happily took Series 7 41mm cellular for price of series 8 41mm GPS. Couldn't say no. I got Series 7 plus cellular in cost of Series 8 base. Happy happy times! Loved this video. Thanks.

Most stores seem to be not selling new, you can buy series 7 in target in store and online. They may say they don’t have any but check as I bought my green one today in person. Target online has them and in person for roughly 350 new. They had blue green and red.

I came from a series 3 38mm gps to a series 7 45mm cellular (Black Friday for $329 new) lol def night and day. I still use my series 3 from time to time if I’m doing something more aggressive even though I have a case on my series 7. It’s just feels so advanced to me I want to make it last as long as my series 3 then upgrade lol

I like using your older watch as a beater watch. Maybe I should start doing that too haha. But the 7 is so nice and I'm so glad I picked one up :)

My battery is fully gone on my series 1 lol. Just got the 7 today and it’s insane how night and day the speed and look are. My bands from my Apple Watch one fit my series 7

@@richmitch64 it’s better to upgrade four or five years so you can see the difference. Most people will upgrade once every two years.
Absolutely gonna get a Series 7 refurbished tomorrow for $250

I got a 41mm series 7 off back market excellent condition and I was shocked it really was excellent condition. 100% battery health not a scratch on the screen or the sides and was 280$

S7 user here the watch feels new and works great save your money and get the 7 instead of the 8 with my usage I can get more than 18 hours I get about 24 on average even using gps

Is it better than the SE? I plan on buying the SE in 3-6 months being my first Apple Watch.
I got a series 7 renewed watch a few weeks ago. I was going to go for the series 6 but found out it didn't work with an iPhone 7 so I updated the phone as well to the iPhone 11.

with an elderly parent, I am really keen for her to have crash detection! Which the latest SE has, but not the 7. Thoughts?

For your case I would recommend the SE 2! I’m assuming your parent wouldn’t be using the watch to it’s full potential and really need all the little intricacies of the 7. But it’ll be cheaper and the peace of mind of the crash detection will be perfect for you!

I was considering getting the SE2 as my first Apple Watch, but decided to get the non-cellular Nike Series 7 instead. Reasons included always on, dust resistance, non-plastic back and fast charging. Went for the 41 in Starlight - tried both sizes/colours in my local Apple Store. I think I made the right decision, even though it was more expensive.
