The 40mm looks better on your wrist. It fits like a watch. The 44mm is nice, but if your wrist is on the smaller size, the 44mm watch looks awfully big on your wrist. I bought the 40mm and could not be happier. Less bulky and I have no issue with the smaller everything.

I got my first Apple Watch last year, just after the Series 8 was released. I went for the Series 7 Nike, because I didn't need the 8's body temp tracking, but wanted more than the SE2 had to offer. I wear it for sleep tracking, so it gets put on its fast charger during my "morning routine". My advice would be to definitely consider older models, especially if they're still available brand new. I'd even go as far as to say that access to WatchOS 10 might be more important than the model number. Also, if you're able to try on, that would be a bonus too. I was sure I'd prefer the darker colour, but wasn't sure of size. After trying all sizes and colours, I actually went for the 41 in Starlight. Thanks, as always, for the content!

i just got my 44 midnight se2. it fits me way better than the 40.

I got the apple watch S9 instead of the SE2 because the size of the bezel. Apple watches aren't cheap but the screen size on the 40mm s ridiculously small.

How did you get the keyboard on the 40 mm ?

What size silicone adjustable wrist band do you use? I assume S/M?

I got the 40mm for Xmas, I am deciding whether to exchange it for the 44mm. I don’t have skinny wrists
