Another great video fella. I nearly bought a Fine Woven iPhone case but so pleased I went with the silicone instead. Was also tempted by a wallet for the back of the phone but again I’m sticking with my leather golden brown one

Thanks man. Yeah this fine woven stuff just doesn’t match up to the leather. Which is just so sad.

i wish they stayed with the leather link one the finewoven is a dust partical magnet i returned it within a day lol

Great video! I’ve been so curious about these since they were announced. I’m so curious what the hold up on these was. The delay was crazy for what seems like such a simple product 😅

Biggest shock so far it feel like it hold stronger than the leather but I feel like I have had to retighten it more than I do the leather bands. 🤷‍♂️

How does it withstand water?

I'm definitely following your channel for the update. I love the leather links... I'm disappointed that they are no longer being made by Apple. But I'm definitely curious to see the wear and tear of this new material & also if it's still worth the premium price of $100. 🤔🤔🤔

My other big concern with bands is if Apple changes the connector on next year’s model I don’t want to be stuck with a bunch of bands I can’t use.

@@TheAppleBias I'm sure there will be companies making adapters to connect the old band styles to the newer watch connector and vice versa. Though I guess we'll find out next year or so.

@Hoju3942 I’m not to worried about most third party bands that use a separate connector but these ones that are built into the band will become obsolete instantly. Even if someone made an adapter of sorts it would probably look awful.

Will you be doing a review of the ocean band by chance?

Does anyone know if the magnetic strap attracts metal particles throughout the whole band. Thinking to get one but I’m just concerned that any small metal filings, shavings, dirt will get stuck to the strap. It’s a pain to get it dislodged since washing with soap and water probably won’t do anything

I’m sure it’s slightly possible. But would require you to put it in an environment that has those.

How are you supposed to clean that? I feel like they’ll get gross and grimy quickly and it’s not like leather where you can just buy a cleaner

I have to retighten mine at least every hour. It’s super annoying and I’m going to have to find a new style of band (or maybe I can find an old leather one).

Well that was easy. Found a leather one on Amazon. It worked just fine on my old watch but I unfortunately had to destroy it taking it off so I could send the old watch back. After 2 years it somehow got fused to the watch and was impossible to slide off.

apple need to find a more durable material for the apple watch magnetic link band that,s water proof and protects the magnets inside from ware and tear.

Yeah I think they should have just got rid of the band when they got rid of leather.
