This actually happened to me when I first put on,It felt heavy and my head hurt,However it was how I had the first strap positioned on my head,As soon as I found my comfortable spot with the first strap I never felt the discomfort feeling again.I’ve worn for hours and I didn’t feel the discomfort anymore

The reason that they're packaging it up, is you did your face scan and they need to get the right fit for you, the light seal and foam cushion, along with the sizing of the headband are all being picked out by the employee and packaging it together for you to have a personalized unboxing.

I think they have to pack it instore the head bands and eye moulds are different sizes maybe in the future they can be packed at the factory but I think it’s better they are packed to order that mean less waste less devices sitting on shelves. I’m glad the box isn’t shrink wrapped in single use plastic either.

So i have a question. Now that you have experienced Vision PRO, what features can be removed so that there is just an Apple Vision product that is more accessible (priced) for the masses?

I loved the Vision Pro for what it is, but ultimately ended up returning it because it wasn’t actually convenient for really any use case scenario. Everything it does, my iPhone or Mac does 200x better despite not being nearly as sophisticated of a platform. I do miss “spatial computing” but think it’ll be far more worthwhile in the next gen or so.

VR fatigue, I know how that feel. They need to come out with a lighter headset.

The EU is going to love the proprietary battery connector did we learn nothing from lightning.

To clarify you cannot wear WITH eyeglasses. If you don’t have 20/20 vision, the Zeiss optical inserts are available; $99 for readers, $149 for prescription. Not all prescriptions are supported.

You can wear the Vision Pro with contact lenses without an optical insert..that’s what I did. However if they are hard contact lenses I’ve been told you will need an optical insert for that.
